Callin it now, I'm thinkin they will do a throwback to GOW1 style storytelling, with events and gameplay being non-chronological...they could pull off a sequel and a continuation in the same game!!

How was the sound quality when you put music on?
I love the psp (still use my 1000 series to this day over ipod/ itouch etc). My only gripe with the system was that the sound quality was sub-par to other mobile devices
If its anything like Jaffe's original plan for the series, It will make alot more sense than ppl think.

Sorry but there is no way in hell a God of War console title is releasing anywhere outside of March. All three iterations of the game released in March, I don't see why they would deviate from that.

Uncharted3:I think they actually picked the right scene for Uncharted, while his death scene was obviously more of a "wtf' moment and def got me hyped, the subtleties in that scene with Drake and Elena was monumental IMHO.
Gears 3: when Dom died I laughed, and no I'm not saying that as someone who never played through the series, I played all 3 installments and i still found the way they tried to force-feed you emotion in Gow3 game hilariou...
There are wayyy to many loop holes in the story for SM Studios to run with if they really are making a GOW4 game.

Went and read your take on why UC2 was not the best game of this Gen like some people say it is. I think the whole concept of 'Game of a Generation' is kind of retarded 2bh. I think people get way WAY to caught up in which game "defined our generation" and get taken away from the fact that there are way to many opinon's of what a good game is for one game to truly speak for an entire generation of gamers. Plus it's Naughty Dog, something seemingly small to us could completely change the way the levels are designed. I wouldn't put it past them

How exactly did the PS3 flop?? This is looking pretty good graphically. I'm glad something is FINALLY pushing the envelope on the 360. However, after looking at the 'trailer' i'm less convinced that this is going to be a great mind blowing game.
Something about the way it came off as an infomercial killed the vibe for me. I mean...if its truly a great mind-blowing experience, why bore us with the voice over that feels like your trying desperately to convince us that this game is the sh*t?? it's a game..grea...
I couldn't have said that better myself! I have played NG, DMC and other such games, and hands down the GOW series is my favorite of all time.
I've actually been arguing about this with a good friend of mine for the better part of 6 years (yea we're nerds but we're fine with that ;P) specifically about how GOW held up to the premier Hack-n-slash of the time, DMC3. I would always argue that its the story that makes GOW stand out. Yes its combat system wasn't as deep as DMC, ...
What really gets me about Uncharted is how the visuals stand on the own with little to no use of bloom.
IMHO when I see alot of video games. On one hand, bloom can make outdoor scenes look more realistic by simulating the way a human eye reacts to strong sources of light. On the other, when videogames use this technique too much (i'm looking at you Gears of War) it makes the world your playing in look horribly unrealistic. It crosses the line in the uncanny valley and makes it...
Imho...they are both great looking games. Yet imho Uncharted 2 looks way better than Alan Wake. The fact that ND REFUSED to go by the usual playbook in the gaming industry where a dev purposefully uses a muted color palette to hide bad textures and SUCCESSFULLY pulled off a great game at the same time is amazing in and of itself.
Does that mean that no one should ever play AW because it can't match up to Uncharted's level of graphics?? Hellz noo...I'm sure many ppl will like the gam...
