I'm getting the samsung ks8000 (ks9000 in the US) black friday is right around the corner. My guess is you can pick up a 65" for less than 2.000$

Disagree all you want. NO 1080p tv can do hdr. Is it possible to make one that does? Yes! Are there any? No. Hdr does not rely on resolution, true. But it relies on other stuff like 10 bit color depth, contrast and insane peak brightness. No 1080p set has been made to handle these requirements. So...No it's technically not possible ☺
It's not that simple, unfortunately. The pro can produce awesome graphics, but fps is bottlenecked by the CPU. Basically we're still gonna get a lot of 30 fps games, but they'll look fantastic ☺
