What marketing campaign? It was just announced!
Pretty soon, all they'll produce is CoD titles.
Not that they're far from that at the moment, despite sitting on mountains of profit.
GASP! You mean, they didn't include a score? As in... people actually have to read the review and find out the reasoning behind it instead of simply staring at a number and complaining?
Gosh, I'm not sure my 21st century brain can handle all that.
I wouldn't expect anything less from God of War title.
ENOUGH WITH THE AC TITLES, UBISOFT! Give it a rest for a while, and come back when you have a really polished title to show us. Almost everyone agrees that the games have some noticable flaws anyway, so you have your work cut out for you.
Definitely agree with Mirror's Edge and Heavenly Sword. Diamonds in the rough that could use a second chance.
Interesting; you seem to take issue with other people liking certain games.
I hated RE6, but I can respect IGN's 7.9, since they gave good reasons as to why they liked it. Many vocal fans have repeatedly stated that they also thought RE6 was a good game. Who am I to state their opinion is wrong? They genuinely liked it, as did the IGN critic. You can't change that.
Maybe once you stop viewing subjective reviews through an unnecessary objective filter,...
No, it's a 7.8/10 in 'true value' score.
I was pleasantly surprised by Mafia II, even though I thought the open world was a bit unnecessary, since there was very little to do within it. For the most part, the game was just a series of story missions, which made me wonder why it wasn't just a linear game. Having to drive everywhere got tedious after a while.
If Mafia III wants to retain the open world, there should probably be some side missions and activities, as well more interactivity in general. That said, I ...
Actually, that would be pretty awesome. While the first game was rough, I still think an improved sequel could have potential.
Also, to those who downvoted my comment: It's called sarcasm!
Eyepet 2. Calling it now.
Well, it is free.
Haven't watched it since I plan on playing it, but people, just keep in mind that:
a) This ending is taken out of context
b) Most endings in video games suck
c) The journey, not the destination blah, blah, blah
Quite frankly, this could be the worst ending ever and I'll still be interested in playing the game if it's good. But hey, I'm probably alone on that.
I seriously doubt it. Who completely finishes an AAA game before even announcing it?
Sad news. There's a distinct lack of games set in Ancient Egypt, and this looked like it was shaping up to be a great one.
I don't think they needed to cut it outright. If there's enough justification and context for that scene in the full game, which I'm guessing there would have been, then I don't see a huge problem.
Maybe it was a wrong move to showcase that part during the E3 demo. Stripped of any additional context and put on the 'showoff pedestal' that is E3, it may have looked to some people like a shameless attempt at shock value by Ubisoft, which I think gives off...
I'm honored, Kurt Russell, to have entertained a celebrity such as yourself. XD
I'd make a game that would at least satisfy someone rather than disappoint everyone.
Yes. Clearly someone who spends most of their time playing Angry Birds and Jetpack Joyride is interested in a game like Dead Space.
/sarcasm
"The game in its current state boasts loading times of well over half a minute."
And there's still 2 months until the game releases, during which the game could be polished. I wouldn't get too worried right now.
