Both great games, but gow takes the cake.
Hard to chose one... RDR 1 had that one moment "father will protect the family", dude that was just amazing.
Most games are not AAA games, and we are not talking about "just making a game", it will be a new IP, they we build things from zero! They are creating a new studio and creating a new ip at the same time, it's hard to belive we are going to see anything in less than 4 years.
Sure, other MS studios can cover it, like playground and Ninjatheory. I can totaly see these two whit games in the next 3 years or so, but i would be surprised to see something from The i...
...man... whit all due respect, they are still building the studio. Recruting, making teams, creating engine, concepts, etc. pre-production take years and full production will take even more. Just look at other studios works ( studios that are complete, have organized teams and are not under construction) they normaly take 4-5 years or more for a new IP at AAA level.
No way to deliver this in just 2 years and 3 is almost impossible.
We will see, but it will take some time, 4-6 years perhaps?
It's a hard and complex process called "making the best games".
Whit all due respect, It's not looking good for SoT. The games got very low meta.score, it's prety much dead on twitch, sales are kinda slow since it can't even make top 20 on latest NPD ( on the other side UK sales are good). No trying to be a negative, but many things are showing that the game is far from "good results".
Actualy capcom is doing a great work.
Monter Hunter, Resident Evil Remakes, SFV arcade, Devil May Cry and even a good looking Megaman!
Sure, there are many other ips ( like dragon's dogma, Breath of fire and Viewtiful Joe), but for the moment capcom is doing great, considering capcom size it is hard to imagine they doing better than this!

It's too difelferent compared to ps4/pc/Xbox one. The cpu architecture, the gpu power, the memory, the size of the media/HD, you name it, switch is different from other consoles, porting for switch becomes a chalenge and creating games "switch first" is a big bet since the user base is so small compared to others.
I agree whit 90% of what you said and sony blocking crossplay whit microsoft is the correct move, but Nintendo is another thing. Sony and Nity market are different, crossplay is a ok whit nintendo and i hope sony will make crossplay whit nintendo a reality.
Sony doesn't need to do @#$#@ about crosplay whit xbox and nity. Sony already can make crossplay whit pc, android, ios and they are leaders in sales by a long shot! For some reason media outlets are making a big deal of this, and some are even saying that playstation is "isolated and alone", but this is #$#@$#!

Some will disagree, but i hope capcom will focus on ps/xbox/pc. I mean, just look at MHW, the game barely works on X1S and only manages to get "ok" results on ps4 and more powerfull consoles, so there is no way to port this to switch!

2019-2020 > too soon, most likely nothing.
2021-2022 > NT and playground will bring something great.
2023 > the initiative will create something. I mean, the studio is still under construction, than they will brainstorm concept and gameplay for new IP and finally they will start the works. I realy don't think we are going to see this so called "AAAA" for at least 4-5 years.
The other two - small games, most likely.
Nioh looks very similar but plays very different. The combat is more complex and allow more interaction, and there are more deep rpg elements, to the point where you will look at Nioh and see Diablo III.
Nioh may have the "Dark Souls aura" but it manages to create something new. The gameplay is similar, but the "way you play" is very diferent, and, as i said, nioh got much dipper rpg elements than any souls.
Well, I rather lower price point and the advantage on the exclusives side ( both number and quality of the exclusives ).
