well as long as there is choice which is good as long as one of those choices continue offer greater online support than it will always be woth the subscription. then again ps plus does have its advantages, not XBL's uhhh quality but they do have quantity on their side.
i got ps plus and got ten free games right off the bat, i don't know about you but that does seem pretty awsome. and just getting a avater helmet is kinda sucky its as if microsoft wanted to give you cookie but they give the cookie to you in crumbs. heres one crumb, then another, and another. on the other hand PS Plus is like here have a box of cookies go nuts unless you are allergic then here have some nut free cookies.

Discounts don't seem to bad and the free game is shovelware. so all in all its not too bad people arn't raging at least, but seriously though XBL service anniversary gives you a free game and alot of people don't even have a kinect or refuse to buy one or has no interest in it what so ever, i don't want to come off as spoiled but i think an anniversary for the Xbox live service they should have given a game that everyone could enjoy, like halo 3,2, or ODST which is probably a ...

Nice doesn't exactly fall into Microsofts catergories, i mean sure a free game, but i think for a XBL service that you pay for i think you deserve at least something that isn't shovelware, Halo 3 would have people in hysterics. or maybe something that every Xbox 360 user/owner would be able to use.
I argree i stopped seeing its as a standalone tripele A game instead saw it like fifa i mean you don't see people hating on fifa and it is the same thing year in year out, COD is the same offering you the same experiance while it holds its only style and class it keeps itself modern

Your theory definatley is applicable, and isn't below microsoft, but there are reasone, apparently Behtesda is lazy when it come to making the ps3 version of skyrim most people are saying that they bascially copy and paste to the Xbox version.
