Redemption
Couldn't agree more; I'm in the same boat.
Return to Castle Wolfenstein
Gwent and KOTOR's Pazaak
Uncharted 4 - The pinnacle of storytelling and gameplay in the series, with perfect pacing
Uncharted 2 - took the series to new heights by amplifying the quality of every part of the original; multiplayer was also amazing and simple
Uncharted 3 - very close to the 2nd game in terms of quality, and I'd argue it can fairly be switched with U2 for 2nd
Uncharted - quite an amazing title as a new IP on new hardware; really one of the original titles to showcase what ...
Oh hell yeah. Such a hilarious, charming game with great lore
Well I can definitively say that Okami HD was glorious. Imagine a game that plays like a living and breathing painting, now vastly improved with sharper and bolder colours. Bigger collections have the added benefit of tying multiple stories and experiences into one narrative.
ME:A severely hurt the IP so it's likely that Bioware and EA will step away from it for some time, similar to how Ubisoft handled Assassin's Creed. That being said, unless Bioware actually ever fixes and improves a weak entry, like Ubi with Unity, then the fanbase could continue to be skeptical.
Loved this game, and one of the top games I've played on ps4
I only played the masterpiece a few months ago. 145 hours later and I can definitely say that it is one of the greatest games I've had the pleasure of sinking time into. Had to revisit it after not initially getting into it, as the game truly does demand your time and attention. I guarantee others have played it for twice as long, and enjoyed it just as much.
Good article and a pleasant read. Some great recommendations that I can attest to!!
Still trying to catch up on all of the good entries in between other AAA games. I would say it's best to hold off any Ubisoft, Activision, or EA game until there is a consensus. So many of their games milk players for every possible dollar with Season's Passes, microtransactions, and all that other BS. Battlefront 2 is a beacon of hope so far for a welcome change, but in general it costs a fortune to enjoy the full packages these games offer. Playing Assassin's Creed entries furth...
Spyro trilogy!! Make it happen Activision!!
Please God let it happen. My very first PlayStation game
Praying for a Spyro remaster
Agreed. Awesome descriptions of Wipeout and Persona
I started playing TLG a few days ago, and I'm blown away. It certainly has a few camera issues, and frustrating moments, but overall the experience is a deeply mysterious and warming game about a beast and a boy. Their growing connection/bond also shows some really interesting AI development that I haven't seen often. The art direction and audio is quite refreshing too. Highly recommend you give it a shot, though it isn't for everyone.
Wishful thinking. At the end of the day, "raw power" doesn't mean much without compelling software. The Wii sold like hot cakes because it was innovative in tech and consumer-friendly with its lineup. Why would anybody want to spend $500 on hardware with no compelling exclusives. Backwards compatibility works on older X1 hardware. PlayStation is thriving because of the plethora of exclusive titles available, and ongoing momentum that began at its inception with a consumer-orient...
C'mon Spyro PSX...
Hitman really surprised me, being a hardcore fan and skeptic towards the episodic approach. Definitely a true culmination of all that makes the series great, while adding welcome additions. Deus Ex: MD was a great game which improved on almost all fronts, though many fans had their issues with the game. For me, SE's DLC and other publishing cash-grab BS numbed some of the experience, which is a shame.
