Yeah, I mean game sequels never sell well. Just look at Halo 3. No one even bought that. Most people are huge fans of the GTA series and are going to buy it. It doesn't have to bring amazing new revolutionary things. It gives you the ability to steal cars, kill hookers, and just live that life of crime that we always wanted to but never had the balls to. Saying this game won't sell is just going against all common sense.

Your comment can be put against almost any sequel. God of War 2, basically the same idea as the original but a great game. MGS3(I'm not using 2 since I never played it through, the disc is scratched)was the same idea with that 3rd person espionage yet the 3rd installment was one of the best games I've played. I respect him as a video game developer, but as a person, he comes off as a schmuck. He always seems to downplay the success of others as if it's nothing compared to what he's done. Which in the opinion of some, is deserved. Maybe in reality he's a good guy, but he just seems to come off as a hypocrite.

Omega, if you want realism, play hardcore mode. It's the closest you'll get. The rifles are all just about 1 shot 1 kill, depending on the shot placement. None of that, "yeah you shot him in the head but he had juggernaut so it doesn't matter".

A lot of people deny Uncharted as GOTY. Most of the awards went to Mario or Bioshock. But you are right in that 2008's lineup seems a lot better, but those games aren't out yet. So we still have to hope they live up to their hype and deliver before 08 beats 07.
