No mention of Amnesia... but lists Day Z (which isn't even technically a 'game' yet) makes this article lose all credibility. Happy Halloween!
Someone get the author a copy of Call of Duty or Madden, that's probably more his style... Stupid article, in the first sentence he says he "was eager to re-experience" the game. However, in the introductory sentence to the second paragraph he says this, "I quit Final Fantasy VII shortly after exiting Midgar. Yes, I’ve heard it gets better." Take note: I've HEARD it gets better. But I thought he played it before? Did he only play it through the beginning that time ...
Haha, I was bored and played that PETA game.
I won the first match or so and they're like, "Congratulations! You won the battle, here's your prize!" It was a sad video of abused animals... worst... prize... ever... :'(
I think HL3 will be released with the new source engine, with the long wait it's been, valve can't make it anything less than mind-blowing. So releasing it alongside a new engine would be perfect. Either way, this game looks pretty cool and I can't wait to hear more about it!
@Kaos_VII
"How can you compare apple to oranges?"
They're both fruits, weigh roughly the same weight, are spherical, and they both come from trees.
"Riding a bike is the same as driving a car?"
Both are used on the road, are a mode of transportation, have wheels, and for the most part need someone to operate them. Not technically the "same" but this is comparing, not making an exact congruent.

Yup! I don't see how this guy could leave out Amnesia, sure it isn't as mainstream... but it's definitely one of the better, if not the best survival horror game out there right now. It's a shame he doesn't even mention it in the article... how do these people get hired?? =\
The most hilarious part about this article is how you have to open a new link for each meme...
I like video games because video games are awesome! So is Kurt Vonnegut!
I don't understand. Is that sarcasm I just didn't catch? If so, my bad, but Escape from New York came out in 1981, the first Metal Gear NES game came out in 1987. How is it possible that Snake Plissken was based on a character that didn't exist until 6 years in the future? o_O
@Moby-Dickhead
WHOA! WHOA!
"I guess with a name like commonsense"
"commonsense"
Like how to use the 'shift' key? THAT is pathetically lazy.
I guess with being a Grammar Nazi, you were going for irony.
What a prick.
I still believe in the 3 character theory, from the first trailer you can see the hispanic guy with the fade that drives the red car, the black dude that was running from the cops, and the white guy that was narrating. The first set of screen shots had the white dude, the 2nd set had the guy in the red car, and this set has the black guy. Either it's 3 characters with an intertwining story or you play as 1 but they're all key elements to the story. Just my thoughts.
@Blondie, where did that comment come from? I'm a PC gamer and I think I speak for all of us when I say that it looks amazing.
"And finally, please give me the winning lottery numbers with that financial crystal ball you seem to possess. I love people who think they can predict the future."
It's called analysis, and if you did the research you could probably come out with the same outcome in terms of our economical system.
I hate whenever someone makes a prediction and gets slammed for it. Predictions are good to have in case you need a failsafe. Would you toss out the ...
Max Payne 3*? n_n
It would be pretty crazy if it all took place in the same universe though!
Quit reading once I found out I had to click the next button for each number ...like a boss?
How about like a shitty website.
I can definitely agree with you there
I know this is way beyond the civil war era... but I would love to assassinate Thomas Edison. Hopefully by a 'faulty' tesla coil
either eat them or stab anyone questioning what he's 'doing with those knives'
I love valve so don't get me wrong, but how is this an article?
Absolutely, I love DayZ. I agree that it has some very intense survival horror elements when it comes to other players being in the same vicinity as you, and you don't know whether they're friendly or not. Then suddenly you hear the crack of a bullet land right next to you, and you know it's fight or flight. So don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking DayZ in any way... it's just the article is titled The Five Scariest GAMES of All Time, where as DayZ is still a mod. It...
