lol no way is that overrated SF4 the best game of the year. #1 goes to RE5 easily.
I don't really love the Wii (I have one, and I haven't touched it in about 6 months now). I'm just saying that IF they were able to raise interest in a Tekken Wii game, it would be good for business, IF being the key word. Personally, I would never buy a Tekken game on the Wii, as it would probably control horribly.
Wii has the most sales. If he can actually raise interest in a Wii Tekken game, it can only be a good thing for Namco.
I knew someone would make some dumb comment like that. T6 graphics would definitely have to be downgraded, regardless of what screens or low-res videos you're referencing. That said, it's a fighting game---graphics really aren't that important, so it wouldn't be much of all lose.
Katsuhiro Harada sure does a good job of putting this game in the news. There have been like 5 Tekken stories in the past 2 days. The game doesn't even come out for another 6 or 7 months.
Exactly, this was delayed because of BLOODLINE REBELLION, not the 360 port. But don't bother telling fanboys that.
Erm what are you talking about? Did you write yourself that long message to convince yourself that nobody cares about this game and that it's going to flop? Show me one flop Tekken game. Oh that's right---you can't, because no Tekken game has ever flopped.
As for beating SF4 in sales, of course it will---Tekken has always beat SF in sales, and the PS360 userbase will be larger when it's released, to boot.

^^^ Anyone who thinks that Tekken can be played with the use of only one button has obviously never actually played a Tekken game.
It's been in arcades for nearly 2 years now, and it has been the #1 arcade game in Japan for just about all 2 years (and continues to be #1 to this day). So obviously people care about it.
90% of the people saying the game looks like a PS2 game either:
a) have never seen the game in an arcade or
b) are fanboys of other fighting series (usually SF and VF, sometimes DOA) who are trying to hype Tekken down (happens all the time). This is why the internet can be very misleading.
At the arcade I frequent, there's DR machine right next to the T6BR machine. The graphical improvement is obvious. Makes DR look like a PS1 game.
