just controller reveal broke internet down.. yesterday's UE5 on PS5 gave people hopes up in next gen again after the disastrous xsx gameplay from the other day.. that's again a lot of free marketing for PS5 by competitions missteps.
I want to see japanese games on PS5, what degree of creativity they could achieve, because they know how to go way beyond just graphics.

lol why should they? just compare previous UE with Sony's 1st party graphics engines. It's day and night..
UE always had terrible facial animations, which is crucial if you want to make a gorgeous game immersive.

The unreal engine demo to me was far from impressive.. I really expected much more than just better graphics.. Hair animation are terrible, she went down 20 stairs in 2 steps, like she's floating on them.. I don't care about how many triangles are in a static statue, I prefer better immersion and better animations
Funny they talk about how incredibly detailed the environments are.. The character animation looks terrible.. The hair movements and the clothes movements are everything but realistic. Feet steps do not match stairs 100%

When I see how uncharted 4 looks for a 3 years old game, I cannot imagine the choc of what sonys 1st party can achieve
Pretty sure they're waiting for Tsushima to come out before they start showing it off..

i didnt know all exclusives from sony are available on PSnow day one? if you can wait a year or more then by all means now is a good alternative, especially if they open it up to handheld devices.. but you wont be getting every game..

i don't own a phone with apps because i like being free.. i do not need to be on social media, it's an absolute waste of time. I will never ever give such a price for a phone i will only use for social media.
i have a great DSLR camera for many years and it puts to shame every high end pone camera, no GPS no tracking no crap like this and that for me is better value for money, and privacy.

i am really not interested in 1x, no matter the price.. i do not buy the consoles for their price i buy them for the games.
i would take a console with exclusives and well established developers over any other at anytime. Of course if PS5 is way too expensive i'll wait until price is right, because that's my console of choice.
1x games are on PC, or you can subscribe 1 month to xcloud to play them. absolutely no need to invest in the hardware
insane.. it's a big slap in the face of those analysts who were predicting last gen to be the last one..
console gaming is going nowhere, and offline SP games will still be around for the many years to come

i agree with most of what you said, but i see no reason buying a switch when i had wi u since day one. yes it has some exclusives, but splatoon 2 is same as 1, MK8 is on wii u with the DLCs, bayo 2 is on wii u, BoTW and it has some fun family games, which is why we're still using it today. We play Mario bros U 4 players with wiimote it is a blast. wiimote is far better alternative to the joycons.

when you have zero exclusive and you claim having the most powerful console ever you at least make sure the devs optimize the cross gen titles for your system.
30fps is ridiculous on a high end hardware, especially that we all thought 30fps was history already.

PS4 here, and still enjoying the hell out of Wii U.. i don't game outside of home, switch isn't a need for me.
Some of my most loved games ever are from 16 bit era.. Just shows that power means nothing, but that fun factor and talent is what it's all about.
