It's called an art style.
And its a brilliant one because,
its hard to make this design look dated.
For example, look at pixar movies.
Even toy story still looks great.
(and it will always look great.)

LBP 2 will get 8's.
Because it will be the same good game but nothing groundbreaking.

Socom looks worse than CoD3. and the servers crashed on day 1.
