I have to agree, here in South Africa,the PS3 launch was also crap compared to the craziness of the Xbox360 launch.I counted about 12 people in total tonight buying a ps3 at the store I attended.And this is at the most popular gaming store in CapeTown.
Here that, "the aerial battles the cell processor is capable of", as if its such a strong processor, go do your homework boy, the new dual core amd's will kick the cell and the 360's cpu to the ground, its all down to the GPU in wich case the ps3 is mediocre.
You people best get used to this trend of everything coming to the 360, there is a roll reversal happening, the 360 is the new PS2 and the ps3 is the new Xbox1.

The following images are all probably from the latter" Oh ok that makes sense,this images on a Xbox website is all PS3 screens.Dont think because Sony pulled off that stunt where they used a PGR3 and claimed it as one of their own,that other people does the same.So far games looked crapper on PS3 anywayz,so dont expect anything different this time aswell.Besides Xbox360 is better at rendering 1080p than PS3 anywayz!

Had the exact same problem with my PS3 I got from Japan,played resistance and the console shut-down,then flashing red light.Already couriered my console back,waiting for response on swop-out etc.
Thing is,after 2 years that PC will be outdated and too slow to run the latest games.Have he sticked with a PS3 he would've been waxed for the next 6 years.He probably will be buying a 360 for his console fix now.
Yeah but I love BMW and Honda,saying I love microsoft doesnt say I dont like Sony you idiot.Im sending my PS3 back for repair,everyone deserves a second chance,so Im not ditching the console,besides it was expensive.

Received my PS3 today from Japan:),cousins stood in que for me,how nice.Plugged it in set it up,played resistance and ridge racer7 for maybe 2/3 hours and wham,the console makes a click noise and a red light flashes and the screen is blank,I tried everything to get it working again,but everytime I switch it on,the red light flashes again.Now im sitting with $800 worth of nothing,have to pay courier to Japan and back,fck...frustrating!
