Carmack was mostly working on VR when he was at id. He never seemed to be that involved with what the rest of the company was doing. Yes id was poorly managed for years but now Bethesda is watching and cracking the whip. Rage was a tech demo that just got made into a game. I don't really like the animations. Characters move like Woody from Toy Story. They should slow down the movement speed of everything. If it is a tactical shooter it should reflect that in the gameplay. I can see a lot of run and gun, twitch shooter, craziness happening with this much speed. Game looks good standing still though.

Why does everyone call it Red Dead Redemption 2? There was Red Dead Revolver, then Red Dead Redemption. The next game is Red Dead (something starting with an "R") aka Red Dead 3. Seems like many people don't even know Revolver existed.
