Crazy we are past halfway through 2015 and the top story is a game reaching 1080p on Xbone. Does this also mean PS4 already had a DirectX 12 like SDK since the beginning? Both consoles confirmed to be Big Macs with the special sauce.
I can only speak for Bloodborne, but I had Bloodborne running and went to open Spotify and I thought it said I had to close Bloodborne first. But it actually says the game will be suspended and can pick back up right where you left off.
@starchild What made you bring that point up about PS gamer's begging for Witcher ports? Neither of the above posters mentioned bringing ports over to the PS4 specifically. For all we know they could have meant Xbox One.
If you don't mind a more realistic golf game, there is The Golf Club game on PS4/XB1/PC. It's pretty good but it lacks things like a speed up the shot button, no spin button or power button. Really looking forward to this game though. Been waiting for the next EA golf game.
@Grell566 Not sure that's really necessary. Besides, Ryse can be speed run in under 3 hours lol.
An HD remaster of the previous Suikoden's or Suikoden VI would bring tears to my eyes. One of THE best RPG series around IMO. I am still patiently waiting for hopefully a Dark Cloud 1&2 remaster or Dark Cloud 3. Over the last 1+ year it seems like there has been a lot of fud spread by some so called "insiders", let's hope this one is legit.
Also please do a new Chrono Trigger.
@Vegamyster But this console generation is not just going to end with a 680 being good enough. Eventually you will need to upgrade that, and then later on upgrade again to have your computer run them on high settings and stable. That is my point. A console is set, for 7-10 years. A computer is not set for that long. Especially when games requirements are starting to be insanely high like 4-8GB of VRAM and probably i5-i7 will be mandatory too.
And to your point of the GTX680 ...
@Vegamyster As true as that is, how many people even have computer's strong enough to run those games at 1080p 30/60FPS. Sadly I am still running a 6 year old computer with oddly a triple core processor lol. It's much easier to just play those on a console. At least for me it is. People are buying console's and tablet's nowadays not brand new $1000+ computer's.
Well that's good to hear. I just bought the game and installed it last night! Still need to hop on it but been busy.
This is why I would love a 2 console market. Nintendo and Sony or Nintendo and Microsoft. I remember when games like FF7-8-9-10 were exclusive. Resident Evil 1-2-Nemesis were exclusive. Or even Grand Theft Auto used to be synonymous with Playstation. Now it's just Nintendo where you will only find exclusives that truly matter on their own system. With PS and Xbox they are basically the same console nowadays with nothing to separate the two. It's the only reason personally I don't ...
Even though it doesn't "seem" anything related to his previous works, I would kill for a new Twisted Metal. One of my personal favorite series. And well it does have some creepy characters in the games...so maybe?
Lol under the Titanfall picture it says "Also on PS4 and PC." Oops.
@Shady Let's just say you're going to play this game every day for the next 350 days until the next CoD comes out. On Xbox Live you will most likely be able to play all 350 days. On PSN if you add up the sporatic downtimes equal to 24-48 hours total (because it's not down for extended hours or days, you get random 30min-1hour or 2hour downtimes) PS4 players can play it 348-349days. That sure is a big difference. /s. Not sure if I am saying it clearly though but you should get the ...
Ok I will check it out later. Thanks for the advice. *Bubble-up*
Do some games have restrictions on if it works or which parts of the game works? Last night I finally tried it with my friend who owns NBA 2K 14 and it was pretty amazing I was playing against him without owning the game. BUT there was no sound on my end. Was I doing something wrong or will each game be a little different?
It definitely doesn't. I am going to chalk this up to B.S rumor.
Yea it would be nice if it was on there now. I've been using Plex through the web browser as my DLNA and it's worked not bad. Not great...but not bad. It will hold me over until full DLNA hits. Man both these systems are rocking now.
Ha, that is pretty cool. I love the cutaways to the man, "This is an actor" lol. Good stuff. That shaking woman still seems creepy.
It's a bummer there is no Shining Force or Shining Force II, wish I still had my cartridges. Still this seems pretty good. Also loved Kid Chameleon when I was a youngster.
If the review is satire then why can't Metacritic just remove the review and everyone can move on with their lives. There shouldn't even be the need for a petition to be started. Woops, we included a satire review, it's now removed, our bad. That should've been all there is to it.
