I want this game so badly.
This was fun to do. Intending to push these out long term.
Hahaha. I don't actually know if there is one. If there is, I haven't discovered it yet.
For the hardware its running on, it's a minor masterpiece. It just feel like we've been down this road aa little too often.
I honestly enjoyed this game. It's short, but while its lasts its quite the experience. The gameplay was a little more basic then I could have hope, but this is the kind of game created for the experience, not the depth of its mechanics.
Nobody cares about exclusives anymore.
A console is a console. All that matters is if it has good games.
I commend your wonderful tastes in games. Both of those are titles I would easily rank amongst maybe a dozen games I would ever consider awarding a perfect rating to.
The game isn't 4 to 5 hours long at all. That rumour was caused because of a misinterpretation by a reviewer of how the clock in the game works.
Digital Foundry did a piece on this very subject and found that the average playthrough will take you at least 8 - 10 hours. And that's without even touching the higher difficulty levels.
You can find information on that here:
This is the first time we've *ever* given a game a perfect score on our website.
We're generally very critical with ours scores. Sonic 4 for instance, received a fairly negative 6 out of 10, and Comic Jumper, despite being a very funny game, only received a 7, because of its basic and limited gameplay.
This actually looks half decent.
Are you sure you're badass enough?
You want this game. It's totally badass!
Was horribly disappointed by the gane.
Really need to get my hands on this.
I can't personally agree, but still a well written piece.
Fallout New Vegas is a curious beast. It's very familiar, but its very much a game of its own. It manages to escape Fallout 3's looming visage and make its own course, whilst still being a compelling experience.
I don't know yet if I'm hardcore enough for hardcore mode. =(
I think most gamers have just been spoilt with skill-less cover shoots that the thought of having to do something more in a third person shooter besides hiding behind a block and firing random shots for five minutes is too much for their brains to process.
If you were given a box of crayons and asked to paint a rainbow, would you use only one colour?
It's one ability out of a dozen. It has its uses, but it's not meant to be the end all and be all of the game that so many people (who clearly suck at playing games) are treating it as.
Hahahaha. This is brilliant!
Well said.
Personally, I enjoyed this one more than 3, which I wasn't expecting at all.
Did you know you can finish this without killing a single person? Big, big throwback to the originals that, and great game design.
