Any hack and slash game such as this one are very easy to play. They require no strategy or skill. However this game will sell a decent amount copies due to the fact it is Star Wars.
A video game based on a rapper, that's got garbage written all over it. How many copies did the first one sell, 10 or so.

I understand your point, but there are plenty of games with a third person perspective. I'm glad RE4 and 5 aren't in that category. I think the over the shoulder perspective and the controls are what make this game stand out from the rest.

Would you rather have them come out with totally different gameplay mechanics and a completely different control scheme that nobody will like. Of course its going to be similar to number 4, because it was freaking awesome.
