It looks very good. The question is whether it will be fun.
Although those two girls are really good looking, the trailer is nasty and tasteless. Moreover, I think such a situation as in the video is quite unlikely. "Hey what about playing We Dare? The loser gets f***ed." ... Stupid.
This is the best Crysis 2 gameplay footage so far. Nevertheless, enemies seem a little bit tame.
I can't see in what ways Schindler's List could be the exploitation of those people massacred in concentration camps during World War Two. According to your logic, Steven Spielberg - also a jew - made a shocking film just for profiting from his folks' horrible deaths. Don't you think it's a nonsense?
Genocide is something utterly terrible and incomprehensible. That's why I wonder how you can praise such a pointlessly brutal videogame.
I don't know if I'm a gamer in your terms because I don't play too much. The reason of this is that most videogames are simply not entertaining enough. The last game I finished was Halo 3: ODST and I got it when it came out. But this comment is not about Halo or Xbox so please, don't start the fanboy shit.
I think, you took my previous comment too personal. Obviously, not all of you are mindless and uncritical but there is a group of gamers - both adolescents ...
I absolutely agree with the author of the article. It's staggering that many of you embrace such a game; morover, you speak about a zombie apocalypse as it could happen. It tells me you are somewhat disjointed of reality that gives me a thought, a shocking conclusion: this game is about you. ZOMBIES ARE YOU. And I tell you it seriously. What else this post-post-modern consumer-society could be than a zombie society. Media, this trailer zombifies many of you. It makes you indifferent, inse...
Most of you forget that this game will be played by children as well. The problem is that, by playing and watching such games and shows, many children become indifferent towards violence and suffering. They can't respond to cruelties adaquetly and they also become cruel, emotionally empty. Don't get me wrong, I don't blame videogames only, it's a social problem. Nevertheless, parents should take greater care of their children. Feeding, clothing and providing them with money is...
You see? That's what I'm talking about. You see zombies everywhere! Jeez...
You guys must be sick to look forward to play such a blatantly violent crap. Do you know what killing zombies stands for? It stands for you killing your own crippled self. It's a quasi violent projection of your damaged psyches.
Most Call of Duty games are also generic because they are reiterations of the original game or Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. I can't enjoy the same game over and over again.
No, because that would be something like Halo. I did not say that Killzone is a bad game, I said its generic. So, if you haven't played any FPS games in the last ten years then it may be a memorable experience for you. And just to tell you, I'm not an Xbox or Halo fan.
I don't like its visual style. It's all gray and brown; however, snowy levels add some variety to the generally dull color scheme. Unfortunately, gameplay is in line with art style, that means Killzone is THE generic shooter; Call of Duty on an other planet which looks like Earth.
I can't understand why so many people dislike Halo 3: ODST. As for me, it's far better than Halo 3 and Reach. Actually, it's the one closest to the original game.
Honestly, I feel sorry for this guy considering ODST the second most disappointing game on the Xbox 360. I hope, he just didn't play it...
I haven't played the demo yet but after watching the videos my first impressions are mainly positive about the multiplayer. I really like that the usage of nano suite abilities costs energy. Because of this, one's success depends very much on his energy-efficiency. This vertically structured 6 vs. 6 map also requires players to be tactical. I think, people haven't played enough to form a negative opinion about the gameplay because everybody is in the learning phase. I have to play...
I think you are right.
Why is everybody so crazy about graphics? If you want to be amazed by good graphics then just wipe your glasses and look around yourself! If you have an Xbox 360 or a PS3 then just live with it! The PC version will look better and run better but come on, Crysis won't be the first FPS on consoles. I mean, you will get used to it. Instead of moaning about graphics, let's just hope that gameplay will be fresh and exciting.
I absolutely agree with the author of the article. It is a very bad trend that videogames become more and more cinematic while gameplay is unsatisfactory. Please, we want GAMES instead of interactive Hollywood sh*t!
In terms of story, Red Dead Redemption easily tops most of the recent movie blockbusters and its presentation is superb. Unfortunately, it becomes very repetitive after several hours that spoils an otherwise great package.
It is similar to a free-ware on-line fps named Urban Terror... except its graphics which is waaaaay better. I think it will be successful because it seems quite different from the other popular multiplayer FPSs.
This box-art is not bad-ass enough. Duke's face does not look weather-beaten at all. He looks like an eighteen year old kid who has been pumped up by a couple of cocktails. Furthermore, that gun is too chiseled for him. A .50 DE or a big revolver would fit him better.
It's a surprisingly good looking game.
