theres nothing wrong with killing an animal to eat. if people didnt eat animals we would be overrun by them. humans by nature are omnivores. vegitarians do consume animal proteins but they are in the form of milk, cheese, yogurt etc. Humans would have never survived as a species without eating animal meat so to say that killing an animal for meat is cruel is just stupid. Killing for fur, sport, or display (mounted heads, horns, sony PR events etc) is cruelty. livestock animals (cows, pigs, ...
just because you are a farmboy does not mean that every person and child should take a tour of their local slaughtering plant to see just exactly how the meat takes a journey from a dead animal carcass to the plate. People get it that meat comes from animals. They dont need to kill one or watch one be slaughtered and sit on display to know that.
and then there are those "fools" who like to downplay relentless animal cruelty as a way to defend sony as a result of their flamboyant fanboyism. Killing an animal for any other purpose other than to eat it is wrong.
so because my 2 year old son likes eating hamburgers from mcdonalds he should be prepared to see a decapitated goat corpse and hunt for his own meat? this isnt the stone age, children arent brought up slaughtering animals and hunting them down with spears and tearing the raw flesh from the hide and eating it raw. your post is 100% grade A BS!
killing just to display a decapitated dead animal is completely different. what use did that goat serve? that goat died for people to gawk at it in disgust at a video game promotion. next we're going to see dead goats at sam's club to attract people to the sample tables.

with the 360 and the PS3 having COMPLETELY different architecture, its very hard and costly for a developer to produce a port of equal or better quality without starting from scratch. Maybe when the 360 ports start to roll in (DMC4) 360 owners will see then downside of porting from PS3.
these figures are nowhere near correct. point is that there is no way of really knowing. Sony is most likely highly exaggerating its european sales figures, we all saw the empty lines and then the next day there are BS articles about ps3 selling 600,000 consoles in a day or some crap. The stock holders must be posting these BS stories.

i liked this game too. it may not be final fantasy but it really is a great game. at least rent it.

I bet square enix is taking notice of poor ps3 console sales and attachment rates. I wouldnt at ALL be surprised to see FFXIII (original title) on 360. PS3 will no doubt always get the ported versions of games (except former sony exclusive titles). Sony has GOT to be admitting to themselves that they made some BIG mistakes with their console. IMO the only thing that will make PS3's fly off the shelf is a 200$ price cut with some GOOD exclus...
