@OmnislashVer36 if PS5 is on 7nm process then 19-20tflops on a mid gen GPU parts is feasible. At 14nm AMD maxiumum GPU can muster 15 tflops as shown on leak Vega at maximum. A 10nm will get 21tflops and highest end for 7nm will prob will hit 28 tflops or more. So a 10x power is defo possible if the processor node shrinks.

1080p to 4K leap isn't very huge in terms of real world visuals. I rather they use all that extra power in running games at 60fps in 1080p or higher. Higher frame rate has more impact on gameplay than say resolution which only makes the artistic representation better. Gameplay should always be most important therefore Frame rate should always be king.
@thekhurg i don't have problem with AMD products but Nvidia just dominate the GPU market as shown by this Steam and other market research. AMD cpu havent been as good as the hype built around it and Intel still dominates in performence. Market capitalisation just isnt good enough. AMD surely is going to either file bankruptcy or brought or maybe go through both.
yep im 29 years old and allot of my mates who play video games either play GTA, Fifa and CoD. These are essential casual console games that anybody who isnt a pure gamer plays thats why they sell more than any other game every year. Personally i wouldnt call myself a gamer if those three franchises died. Though i do play other games time to time but those three are essential.
@Neonridr @F4ctory_Reset yes it does have Fifa but for how long. Wii U had Fifa and CoD for a year or two. Those big three fanchises i named are essential Console games that Nintendo lacked which was downfall of Wii U. A console needs the casuals and the popular games all gamers can play.

AMD Vega is going to compete with a year old Nvidia GPU. Nvidia still havent released this years GPU. Nvidia is just going to dominate AMD.

@yankolo yes but the maps are too large. They need to make PVP specifically fit to work with that type of game mode.
2020-2021 will be the timeframe that next gen will begin. Sony said a next gen system must be 10x the power of last gen. I expect no less.

That was CGI and NOT actuall gameplay so it fooled the uneducated eye. Clear distinguish between Movie CGI and Real time gameplay.
