nope its the same jaguar cpu on current Ps4 that just manufactured in 16/14nm node and overclocked. Look at the leaks from Digital foundry. They also have a video of explaining this. The upgrade on PS4 is disappointing as specs are comparable to low end current gpu.
@Tsar4ever01 This gen is more different than any gen ever...Power is what helped PS4. Its the reason why a person like me who was a 360 guy moved to PS4. Next year it will be different. I move back to Xbox. Gen 8.2 begins
Call of Duty is ruined with single player bot killing campaigns. Ban single player for CoD. Instead of a crappy campaign which no CoD players play. We should get 30 multiplayer maps on disc. Campaign single player should be for those SP lovers whiles MP should be for MP lovers like us CoD guys
@Trez1234 i rather wait a year for a superior console with better res and frame rate. At the moment i own both system and i will be upgrading Xbone for scorpio. Most games i play are multiplatform and i played on PS4. Scorpio will become my No.1 console. Keep PS4 for naughty dog. I have zero interest in other Sony exclusives. Not fan of sword fighting and those style games so.
Another bad campaign games...they should ban campaign in COD cause no one wants it. COD and BF are multiplayer games. Multiplayer games should remain multiplayer.
@battletrax Minecraft was perhaps an exception but that game is played by mostly pre puberty children.
@Stogz Xbox one pretty much had AAA game every month. PS4 gets AAA every few full moon. With BC, u can bet u get AAA game every god damn month. AAA>non AAA indies any day of the week.
@Majin-vegeta since ps3 is dead and PS4 doesn't do Backward compatibility then Yakuza 5 is worthless. Vast majority of us have sold our last gen consoles to save space & money.
So PS4 has NO AAA game this month...XBL Gold has had one AAA game every month since spencer took over. AAA games or not at all. This is CONSOLE. For Console gamers....AAA games is what matters. if it was a proper game like the old gameboy for smarphones and had multiplayer then it would have been a huge seller. Nintendo being Nintendo with its old school gaming mentality. We not gonna get what us gamers deserve. Someone from moderm age needs to get Nintendo kicking and screaming to the 21st century. Nintendo mind set is still stuck in the 90's.
Yeh but Xbox 360 was best and most powerful console last gen. Superior online service, games ran better. Best exclusives for shooters and a controller perfect for racing and shooter games. This gen, they failed and everyone moved to PS4. Tables have turned.
@seanpitt23 @dcbronco Doom runs great even on a low end gpu maxed out such as amd 370. All 60fps games that run on console are easily achievable on low end GPU. Optimization to achieve 4k 30 on scorpio? lol even the super powerful gtx 1080 can struggle 4k 30fps in many AAA games. No amount of optimization is gonna help Scorpio achieve 4k 30fps. Hell, a low end gpu such as 750ti with 1.4tflops can run BF4 1080p and stable 60fps whiles console runs it 900p and 720p with inconsistent framerate....
