I heard god of war ragnarok was a great game, but when I learned I couldn't pay for Kratos skins and different coloured axes I thought im not wasting my time on that boring game. No micro transactions = No fun.

Oblivion was my first elder scrolls and ive easily got 1000+ hours in it.
Loved Fallout 3,4 New Vegas, Oblivion and Skyrim, absolutely zero interest in playing this, wouldn't give it a try if it was free on PS+ day 1.
Commandos 2 was fantastic for me, if very difficult.

I absolutely love Horizon 1 + 2 but have zero (pardon the pun) interest in this, those are not shocking figures at all.
One of my favourite ever games on the first playthrough , completely gripping throughout.

I mean, it obviously looks a bit better, and its great for people who never played the series, but I won't be paying the upgrade fee to play it through for the 3rd time.

Even if they/them wanted to redesign the characters from scratch to address one of the main complaints about the game, Im assuming there are already multiple of those 'vignettes' produced and ready to go, which will have taken a considerable amount of time , effort and money to produce. Do those just get tossed aside?
Paying for the game is its only source of revenue though right? So how would making it free help out in any way?
Unless they made it F2P , but first did a complete overhaul of the characters the make them more sexually appealing and then launch lots of wildly different outfit options. That aint gonna happen, its gone, let go.
Remaster of a remake , which we already had a trilogy collection for on PS3. Ok.
