I guess it depends on what side of the fence you are on. Personally I own both consoles and I don't favor one over the other but sometimes the hypocrisy I witness on this site just makes me roll my eyes. (LPB any one?)

because that is where it all started for me with Street Fighter but SFIV is my favorite version ever. The game is simply amazing.
I ended up getting it for both consoles so I did my part with sales ;)
but what is your interpretation as to why that is?

My honest opinion is purchase the one for the system you own and be thrilled. If you do own both consoles get the one more of your friends own. If you want to know personally what an HT enthusiast like myself thinks? Get the PS3 version.

it's the opposite when viewing in person. The PS3 version is slightly sharper due to lack of AA but the PS3 version is more vibrant. This is especially noticeable on the volcano and diner levels. To be honest it's noticeable on every level.
I have not come up for air between the 2 since this game launched but to be totally honest I prefer the PS3 version. Both versions are amazing and have their advantages and disadvantages vs one another but I favor the PS3 version even though ...
Check my profile and you will see I just got done with the 360 version 10 minutes ago. I played them side by side on Samsung ln46850 displays. Both using HDMI.

KZ2 appears to be more like COD4, COD:WAW, RS:V vs Halo and Gears crowd.
I played them all and Halo / Gears draws a younger audience out of the gate vs the others.
No offense to the non idiots that love those titles but IMHO Halo and Gears has the worst fanbase out of all online games I have played and I have played them all. I didn't even wear my headset when I played Halo or Gears unless I was private chatting with friends.

Personally I did not have any problems with the controls in the demo. They definitely feel different than most other shooters but after a few runs through with the demo they felt natural to me. I do see what some are complaining about and I saw the videos...
but if you can find a way GET THIS GAME!
It makes waiting for KZ2 go away. I was on the edge of my seat counting the days for KZ2 and right now all I think to myself is when I will find time to play some more SFIV. I just hope I can complete most of the unlockables before KZ2 hits retail.
This is the most fun I have ever had playing a fighting game. I also agree with their only gripes (no demo of combos in training/trial mode and the final boss name).
It is cumbersome trying to find the timing of some of the advanced combos in trial mode and when I made it to the boss character the first thing I thought to myself is what kind of name is Seth for a boss? ;)
Whether or not he is getting it handed to him online only he knows but he is correct that SFIV is slower than previous versions of the series. I noticed it most once I unlocked Akuma and tried to perform his demon rage combo. I knew that would be the case because of the graphics engine they went with. It would be nice though if they had (or add it through DLC) speed adjustment options. I myself would like it boosted at little as well.

have a bubble on me too because GOW is one of my favorite series as well. I love everything about the game. Graphics, sound, story, game play mechanics and the weapons. Oh and my favorite part is the atmosphere the game gives you. Truly epic series.

Most people with any common sense know the gaming media is a joke and thor was just poking fun at that. There is no reason to be so defensive and then go on the attack. Lighting up.

The PS3 version of SF Remix runs fine. I have played it since the day it was released and I never experienced any issues with it.
All fighters run fine on the PS3 online. I have played them all including T:DR (PS3 ), SCIV, MK vs DC and SF:R on both the 360 and PS3 online. The only difference between them all is the controller and nothing more.
Pick a version and be done with it. There is no reason to be putting the other down.
I guess I am lucky my wife isn't into that pathetic "made for retail" holiday. I feel for you guys that are forced to celebrate this day with their mates.
Whats does the special addition SFIV offer making it worth the additional coin?
