I been racing on a wheel for years and youre full of it and dont know what youre talking about. Most console, hell almost ALL console, games are not written for 900 full FFB wheel support. GT5 might be the only game that will get it right.
Even Forza 3 wasn't written for full 900 degree rotation and FFB support.

It is an absolute day one no brainer for me.
I am getting my drop cloth ready right now to paint my riser for my racing cockpit. My GT5 decals should get here any day to help put the finishing touches to it.
Hopefully my newly ordered Fanatec GT3 RS V2 and racing seat (ordered today) will arrive in time for GT5. I'm going all out for this bad boy!

Dante's I wont argue over but Darksiders had depth and scale and was far from mediocre. IMHO it was not only an under rated game but my favorite sleeper hit this year. Darksiders even had a great ending that pumped me up for the sequel.

Really? Everything I heard about GT5 in 3D has been more then positive. A few of my friends went to E3 and they said GT5 in 3D was amazing. It is a true game changer for driving games. It's added depth adds to the realism more than in any other game they saw using 3D.

These two games are not even comparable.
NFS:HPLE is a pure arcade racer. It does not even support manual transmission, cockpit views or wheel support. It is a pure gas and go game on a gamepad.
GT is a simulator that has a following second to none in console racing. People spend tons of money on racing setups just to play GT games. They have sites dedicated to it that have extremely high traffic even though there hasn't been a GT game in 5 years.

I read on NFS:HPLE forum that there is no wheel support, cockpit view or manual transmission in this game. If that is true that will suck. I might rent it but I would never purchase a racer that lacks all the above. Wheel support I can live without from time to time, although Shift (I know it was a different developer) had it and it worked exceptionally well, and even cockpit view I can do without, but no manual transmission would be terrible.

A buddy of mine rushed out and purchased a wheel and cockpit. Dropped nearly 2k on it and barely uses it now because he does much better on a regular controller. Something this author obviously doesn't understand. Most console games are written for controllers and not 900 degree FFB wheels.
