Sanzaru made my Sly dream come true and did a great job at it. They nailed the Gameplay, Characters and Humor of the Sly universe.
I would love to see them reboot classic Jak & Daxter. And forgot about that God Awful attempt by high impact games. I dare not even speak it's name!
@LOGICWINS
"And don't send me Xplay/G4 reviews. Those are done by Xplay as a whole...not by Adam himself. Adam, Morgan, and Blair PRESENT reviews, but they are generally done/written by interns."
So when interns write his reviews for him everything is EPIC and Mind Blowing! But when Adam does them he is highly critical, nitpicks it apart and generally focus on the negetives? Gotcha!
I just remembered ALOT of complaints about the console version. I guess i'll grab it off amazon for $20 bucks and add it to my PS3 backlog.
Thanks Man!
It has been over 10 years since playing Sly 1 but nothing anywhere in the series struck me as "evolved gameplay" or "revolutionary game mechanics" it all felt and played like, well, Sly Cooper!
Pressing circle to land on a object has been present the ENTIRE series correct? Then why does this reviewer complain about it now? Same with the sly humor.
He must of wanted Sly to "Evolve" and add a futuristic magnetic tether or super roc...
Which version are you referring to? Console or PC?
I haven't played it yet and was gonna pick it up the GOTY edition for Playstation or the PC version, depending on which one plays better.
"Sucker Punch is known to deliver incredibly responsive and rewarding platforming experiences, but now that they’re no longer at the helm, Sly has failed to really evolve gameplay-wise."
I Love the Sly Cooper series but Sucker Punch never evolved gameplay in the series!? Every game played the same and it felt Great, that's why they stuck with it.
Here's another one of the reviewers complaints: "Unfortunately, you have to tap circle ever...
When the store updates later today.
Still haven't got a Item shipped E-Mail from Amazon yet starting to wonder WTF?
I think it would be stupid to saturate consumers with 3 more Final Fantasy titles at the end of this console generation. They still have 2 confimed for release on PS3, Lightning Returns and FFIV:Realm Reborn. I don't think either are gonna do well, with all the Loathing Square is getting from their fans.
It would be a great way for Square to move on.
Introduce Versus as FFXV for PS4, drop the Fabula Nova Crystallis Lore out of the story and try to get back some of...
SONY needs to keep delivering Hardcore games, New IP's and Genre Defining games as they have the last 7 years. You all know the titles i'm talking about.
And the Move, which i'm not a fan of unless it's a rail-shooter, did a great job incorporating motion into MANY non-motion games and did it very well. So it paid off in the end IMO.
I have been a gamer for 25 years and do not know a single gamer who stood in line at midnight for a Wii or ran o...
"It suffered in Japan due a version of the game being released on the DS a year before the PS3 version."-Godchild1020
He nailed it with that comment. Just another casualty of the portable gaming dominance in Japan.
That is a Brutal Melee.
I'm gonna follow Darksiders where ever it goes. Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft, I don't care. Someone just buy this IP!
I WANT DARKSIDERS 3!
"That game burned out faster than a 12 year old girl at a Vietnamese brothel. It was cool for 2 weeks"
Classy man! Your gonna go FAR throwing out child sex analogies like that. Don't quit your day job because you suck at reviews and your opinions are tasteless.
I never knew this game existed until now.
I also had no idea it is gonna be based and released around the same time as a new TV Series. I'm definitely interested in the TV show and game now!
Why didn't they release the "Mad Dog McCree Gunslinger Pack-Remix" with ALL the Mad Dog games?
They must want to see if this one sells before releasing the others or they want more for the upgraded PS3 port.
Your right. His games do sell better here.
I've been under the impression for years that they just didn't sell well in NA because they were made for a Japanese audience but actually, they don't sell well ANYWHERE.
I stand corrected.
"F*ck that loser" -Jay Wilson
I 2nd that!!!
What is this "Constant Maintenance" you speak of?
Your calling a IP that has been out since 2001 "Fresh"?
All they did was screw up the Main Character, Gameplay and put a new coat of paint on it.
That is....."Fresh" to you?
@aPerson
I guess reboot was a poor choice of words. I don't want a reboot like DmC or Tomb Raider but a continuation with the series from 3 NOT Lost Fr.......Yeah you know the one.
That's what I meant about "classic" Jak & Daxter. I want a game that keeps the Charm and Gameplay of the previous games, just like how Sanzaru delivered on Thieves in Time.
