I didnt think it would be the same as on PC for a single second, A High powered PC can produce much better than what a console can. But i expected it to be at least at a similar level to other games on console right now. As stated in the article Games like Killzone and Halo look far better. Since they are really selling the graphics side of things i was expecting this to be very good console level graphics. No one is comparing it to a PC.
I cant think of 1 single Beta that didnt have a possitive effect on the game, if it is to tweak a few last minute game play ideas or to fix the last few bugs or even as Branchedout said to test the servers with a good lot of people.
Wait untill you see it, it is stunning looking, i love the sea in the frozen levels it looks so realistic and cold and horribly dangerous !!
It is quite an interesting feature it means an endless supply of new tracks, and not just ones that are pre made but ones that could turn up some real surprises. It is very quick too Yamauchi was able to break out a track for us and race it in under a minute.
Oh yes the photo mode is stunning, when in 3D it is amazing the cars look stunning but i was mesmerized by the tree beside the car :) every single leaf could be seen in spectacular 3D. Ive never seen anything like it.

I actually only finished frontlines a few months ago it sat on my shelf for ages its a great game still holds up to FPS of todays standard. Good toys in it too.
Its been on the EU store for ages i got it well over a year ago anyway.
It is pretty cool alright.

2 Analogue stick are top of the list alright. It is a major let down of the PSP for FPS using the buttons to look around.
UMD's are gone already, dont know if they could fit the L1 and L2 button without making it way to fat.
