You got a point. I'm actually playing through AC unity right now as I type this, first AC game I've played in years. I really like it.
But like you said, this year has a TON of great open world games releasing, hope they step "their" game up to new heights, or it just may not compare to some other high profile games releasing before it.
Already preordered it for my 6 year old.
$100 starter kit. Had to put $25 down just to preorder. Ouch.
I know he'll love it though, already owns and has beaten every single Lego game, has infinity and loves it also.
Two of his favorite things come together as 1. No way in hell he isn't gonna love this game. Lol
Would love to see what ND could do with an fps game thought. Even a prototype or something, they are an incredible studio.
Dice can make a mp game. Now, they don't have to make a half ass single player, full focus on mp. This game will be great.
Regardless, I will sink 100's of 100's of hours into it for sure.

Reallllly hope when you ADS it goes to first person like ghost recon did. I'm not a huge tps fan, but when it drops to a fps when you ads, I'm cool with that. I really like ghost recon, hoping this game does the same..
Would be cool if it was legit, and they actually put together a decent game. I'd buy it as long as reviews we're 5/10 or better, just for fun.
If you look in game at the premium content, it says this expansion will release on June 30th. Which is a Tuesday, so I kinda believe it. Haven't seen a date tossed around yet, thought I'd say something.
WD was worth the time to play it for me.
If they step up their game, improve on everything, they just may have a killer app on their hands, and I for one, will buy it.
Do the smart thing, put $5 down on it.
Play the beta.
If it's good, continue on.
If it blows, pull your $5 off, and you'll know without a doubt your not missing anything.
I'm one of the sheep that have bought cod every years, (except for ghosts, played it first, ugh)
And I haven't had much fun, or put more then 20/30hrs into them. Glad I'll be able to try before I buy this year! So I don't waste my money again this year...

From the "sounds" of it, it sounds like they are trying to do what "brink" did 5 years ago, but hopefully better.
Luckily there is a beta if you preorder, so put $5 down on it, play the beta, decide if it's worth your money. If it is, you know you'll like it from the beta, if it's not, pull your $5 off, and you got piece of mind what the games like, and not wondering if your missing out by not buying it.

Not a terrible deal.
Graphics are graphics. It's awesome to have incredible ones, but like someone mentioned up top, I just hope it runs smooth, no rubber banding, no lag, no hit dectection problems, server issues, packet loss, and all the other god awful things that have plagued battlefield games at launch, and most recently battlefield 4.
I'm a die hard battlefield fan. 1000+ hours in each and every battlefield game, except bf4. Even after all the patches and fixes, it still never felt...
Obviously you have zero experience of doing any kind of extreme sport. No person who really rides bmx, Mx, sx, or evening riding quads would want a game like that.
No person who has done or do these things in real life, want some blown out, over board arcade-y game.

Put a preorder down, $5. Get into the beta, play it. Play before you pay. With some many great games coming out in the holiday time, you gotta make sure your money is well spent.
I put $5 down on this and $5 down on blops3.
I will play each beta, and make sure I'm only gonna buy the games I will get my money out of.
With some many great games releasing this holiday season, I won't have the time to play them all, gonna narrow it down the best I can.
