I think people are blowing the DLC thing out of proportion. None of the DLC is relevant to the core game, and it's mostly just reskins/recolours for hunters/mosters in the game.
If it were for CORE content, like new monsters or hunters on release, or paying to unlock on disc content, I'd understand the outrage, but realistically this is no different to paying for a hat in Team Fortress 2.
There is no distinct advantage to buy it, it just makes you st...
Like the lack of customisation for your specific hunter (other than paid DLC colours), or the means of progression (XP as a whole, but unlocking stars for each weapon/stat for each hunter.)
For example, Maggie is the only one that can use Daisy, now I understand why this is the case, but no other trapper can have anything like Maggie, nor can it be unlocked for any other hunter at any stage of the game.
Same goes for the healer, Lazarus. Don't get me wron...
This game looks and feels great, I feel like some of the points made are valid but there are other game breaking things that need to be addressed.
Otherwise Evolve is a great example of what next gen has to offer.
Your comment makes it sound like you've never heard of it before.
Am I the only one who's annoyed this wasn't for Wii U? Was this because of the poor sales of the console?
Very harsh comments from Joe. I've been really enjoying the game but he has his points.
Fuck yeah.
Shame you can't import your Xbox 360 saves to the PS4 though, and same with PS3 to Xbox One.
Gearbox/2K, learn from GTA Online!
No surprises of what's number 1.
Interesting to see the review split in two, both the game and the DLC. But from the looks of it, neither got great reviews.
Another example of Australia's backwards classification system. All they're doing is taking money away from the creators and forcing people to pirate the content if it's not legally released.
Delayed, then last gen versions of the game being cancelled, now another delay?
Hope this isn't a sign of things to come.
Fantastic news about the customisable faceplates. Finally people can have their own unique 3DS.
I think a lot of people are reading the headline of the article and not the article itself.
The point in the article is more valid when comparing something like Ground Zeroes, which costs $30, to something like Dead Rising 2: Case Zero, which is $5. Both are short, demo-like prequels to another game. Both are short. One cost $30, one costs $5.
The article questions the value of the game, not the quality.
It uses howlongtobeat.com as a refere...
Played this game and loved it.
Kinda agree with the reviewer that it's a very simple turn based RPG-style game, but you're really playing it for the humour more than anything else
I didn't see this the first time, good to see a little bit of perspective and the fact they're not ignoring their fans.
Some people here are a little spiteful though.
I played a demo of this before release, just seemed like a another boring hack and slasher. Seems like this reviewer didn't think too far off the same mark.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaand....They're gone.
Bought this as soon as I found out GT6 wasn't coming out on the PS4 and is only for the PS3!
What were they thinking?
Really looking forward to getting my preordered PS4! :D
The cheap upgrade from PS3 to PS4 games sounds kinda cool, would be awesome to play CoD Ghosts on my Vita!
Haven't not been fortunate enough to have met the strict requirements to essentially get a raffle ticket to potentially pre-order this, I can say I'm surprised that they had some left overs with that $500 price tag.
