I liked Ps1 and nintendo but SNES was the best for a generation of games.
a PS3 for is movie playing capabilities and they are not gamers. Others have 2 or more in the house for just media capabilities.
I'm willing to bet you there are more people that buy the 360 soley for a game console then people that buy the PS3 as one.
Well I can't prove it but looking at the software sales I see the trend..

I do like them new ads, somehow sony is catering to the hardcore now for some reason. Shooters are top sellers. don't you see the direction of them new ads? Yes I do like them but there are for the hardcore.

this guy means, as an action adventure game it is quite linear and there really is no EXPLORATION of any type side quest, but more so climbing around manuvering and just shooting bad guys.

samsung has now surpassed sony in the lcd market..which was expected they are on the decline, everyone is catching up.
To the guy above visit the AVR forumes and none of those issues you posted happens with the new Samsungs 65, 71, 81 series, mostly Sony's and Sharp Aquos. sony known for clouding and sharp banding.

The ps3 sells a little more because of a price-cut and the 360 has had only one price cut. sony needs to do way more damage then that before MS responds.

this is not a game that attracts the masses, I mean it's just not that type of game.
I notice gamers give up on shooters very fast if hey keep dieing a lot and get frustrated, and this fast pace game is not easy to jump in like a halo.

Sony has been the market-leader. From a business POV they are not satified selling as much as the 360, the original xbox only had about 25 million installment -base while sony had around 100 mill.

MS has not issued another price-cut so who knows what will happen the first to $200. Imagine that with GTA 4? Which is a system seller.
Anyhow as long as the 360 continues to sell and do well, sony will get better but its FACT, MS is just not going to stop coming out with games and reacting to sony strategy. Xbox fans will also continue to to buy games and content.
