And yes those screen shots were taken from real-time cut-scenes running on the PS3 hardware. Quantic Dream doesn't use CGI.
And wow those screen shots are awful. Looks to me like they captured those from a low quality trailer or something lol. I've seen the game running in HD and it really is one of the most beautiful games I've ever seen and easily the best looking PSN game out there. I've read nothing but good impressions for it too. I think they have a teaser for it in the Japanese PSN Store. Download it and see how pretty it looks in 1080p.
