it's all about getting used to it, it's more like assassin's creed black flag swimming rather than GTA 5 swimming.
Hairworks is just so demanding even on Nvidea cards, it hits the performance really hard, but Geralt beard looks so much glorious with that Hairworks turned on!
Witcher 2 was good, really good, but Witcher 3 is just miles better in every possible aspect!
It's really sad to see this, I don't know what really happened!
Still this won't keep me from enjoying the game and it's still one of the best looking game I have ever played.
This game is really amazing, it met my every expectation, especially the gameplay and combat, I was expecting something good, but not this good, the gameplay really exceeded my expectations.
3 hours left, each minute feels like an hour:(
@cartoonx1 The Witcher is a PC game, it started that way, and that's the primary platform used to develop the game, it's not CDPR fault if the consoles can't handle the full graphical fidelity of the game!!
First of all, you can't compare the PC version with the console version, that's unfair.
The second thing I think the colors are better in the second shot actually, and I think it will look much better on PC (especially the details and the sharpness). I'm not saying that you should play on PC, everyone should play on whatever platform they like, but you can't blame the devs when they tune the graphics to get the game working on consoles.
That was an amazing preview, just making the wait much harder!
Another solid score, this waiting is true torture!
No they said it's the last Witcher game with Geralt, they may make another Witcher game in the future, but not with Geralt as the protagonist!
The spinning is part of the witcher sword fighting style, this is how Geralt was trained. I actually think the spinning looks good and gives a feel of momentum, the compact is not very grounded like dark souls or bloodborne, it doesn't have the same weight and it shouldn't, it will not feel right in a Witcher game, yet it still has the tactical element.
@r2oB That's my setup and it works fine for me (I will upgrade it in the future if it's nessary), of course if you want you can go with CORSAIR CX750 the difference is only $15.
This rig is stupid, you don't have to buy an SSD, it's a luxury, you can put the money on the graphics card and buy gtx 970 instead of gtx 960, there is a huge difference between those two cards. The CPU Cooler is quite expensive too, it's also a luxury, there a lot of other cheaper and good options. Why is the power supply is so expensive too?! There are a better and cheaper power supplies like CORSAIR CX600 . People really don't know how to pick their PC parts. If you follow...
Nvidia HairWorks is a PC feature of course (Only on Nvidia cards obviously)
The hair in The Witcher 3 looks really good, but Nvidia HairWorks take it to a whole new level
take a look at this

But I think even the most advanced cards like the gtx 980 and 970 will have a hard time running that, one of the youtubers who got to play the game said that enabling Nvidia HairWorks ...
CD Projekt RED have proven themselves to be a golden dev, even in the technical side. They are just doing everyhing right, this is the dev we gamers deserve and need, RESPECT.
They didn't just say you don't need to play the other games because they want to sell you the game, they said that because they meant every word of it, they literally crafted the beginning of the game to be a gate for the new comers, the people who played the preview of the game confirmed it, the game is a stand alone and it's very welcoming for new comers who don't have any idea about the franchise, I didn't play Witcher 1, I only played The Withcer 2 and everything went ...
I'm with you too, I just can't!
God that's along time for a platform game! Still they can take as long as they want if they are making a masterpiece like Ori.
but before, the logo was like this

They hide the 3 so that new comers don't feel afraid to jump in because they missed out on the previous titles (It's a sequel of course, but it's a stand alone title also)
