EA: 'We reached a level of quality at next-gen launch with microtransactions that we didn't last time'

Hynix out of S. Korea.
How? Nintendo and Sony sit at about the same market cap of $20 billion. Sony has more balls to juggle than Ninty as well.
Microtransactions @ $40? Nothing micro about that! I grew up on Gran Turismo and microtransactions herpes has now spread into this franchise too!
I'm getting that PS2 vibe surrounding the hype and launch of PS4...Takes me back!
"People don't care about this... we just want quality games." Are you directly implying that sales figures don't matter in correlation to game releases? You need to take a step back and take a look at the Wii-U losing out on SEVERAL major releases due to sales. If the PS4 stomps the Xbone in sales...THAT WILL determine what "quality games" get released on either platform.
@ChrisW
You delusionally butt-hurt Xbot...God of War was critically acclaimed long before it came to PS3 genius...Did you forget about the PS2 already?! http://www.metacritic.com/g... http://www.metacritic.com/g...
Another retarded "who cares" comment to downplay the significance of PS4's sales stride...If you don't care you certainly wouldn't have commented about not caring genius.
"Who cares"...Guess your on this website for the page design.
Wins what? Losing to the PS4? Delusional Xbot off!
Yep because the American way of business is even more honest and wholesome. -_-
@cesuf
nVidia is getting smashed in mobile by Qualcomm, Apple's A line, and even Mediatek too...They sell their name more than performance on the mobile front.
Looking forward to picking this up as I skipped 5, GT4 was awesome running on the 32 meg Playstation 2.
@sinatra
"yeah but they were TIMED xbox 360 exclusives first"

I so hope you're being sarcastic.
So...PC gaming must be a "poor mans" way of super computing without the million dollar machines eh?
It's a given corporations are in business for profit, but when you look at the passion behind Sony's Playstation division compared to the competition (excluding Nintendo as they have their own strategy), you see a stark contrast in company motives...Unfortunately even after all the contraversy, fans from the other camp don't see this logic.
Indeed...The year head start, lower price, and RROD sales boost really catapulted the 360 to "dominance".
Don't forget about their hefty lists of Need for Speeds... http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
Xbox One giving some company to the Wii U's on the shelves this holiday.
