What I did was disconnect my PS3 from the internet and offline starts to work fine again. The down side is if you do so you can't sign in to your PSN account then.
You have to sign on to the servers and that causes the create mode to take forever loading, and also the costume selection. does any one know how to disconnect from the servers without disabling the internet? Or any other way to fix the create mode problems? Thanks

I pre-ordered from EB Games and was wondering if this is the fixed version. You'll be happy to know they fixed the freezing problems that were in the beta.
Then no one could go online until the download, so everyone would download it and there everyone should be happy, unless you want to argue. I respect Sony a lot more to see that they respect peoples beliefs and hope they try in the futures to fix the problems before the game releases, though the delay doesn't bug me and I hope it doesn't bother all of you. You should always respect others, if you want to be respected yourself.

Does this include online competitive split screen. I hope some how they bring the main split screen story mode back.
Never mine it says yes in the comment replies. This makes the loss of story mode split screen much less harsh, still it would have been nice.

AC 2 should keep Altair as a main character. He was an awesome character and the last game didn't show him die maybe some reason the could show he became immortal because of the piece of Edin. More then 70% of the game revolved around Altair they can't just get ride of him. In my opinion I never thought AC was repetitive.

Yeah online is fun, but if i had a choice of online or split screen I'd choose split screen. Resistance 2 losing the single player split screen was a bad move. Still at least it still has co-op mode split screen. I would still have liked to have single player split screen. O well. Maybe they'll make more split screen games in the future. History does repeat it self. Bots were also nice in offline multiplayer.
I'm not someone who likes online gaming that much as offline, if I was charged to play online it makes me feel that you have to use online everyday or its wasting money. sometimes I go weeks without playing an online game other time a play online for hours. If they made XBOX live free I'd probably get an XBOX 360 and don't tell me that XBOX live runs better then PSN. I've had experience and know it depends on the game.
