actually the reason its flat is not to make it more sturdy or to prevent finger damage, it's to save money on manufacturing costs, thereby reducing the cost of production.
There is only 1 bigger non-3D screen in the 2DS divided by plastic in the middle to make the appearance of 2 separate screens. The only functional drawback of this is the fact that you cannot fold a screen, thus the flat design.
Just to clarify, I thought the game was amazing. In my actual review of the game I gave it a 9/10. This particular site is one dedicated to video game stories. Thus, the story reviews.
I didn't mention this originally but the gamepad would also be a nice addition for any of the 'Tales of' games, as a 2nd player could use the gamepad screen to follow their character. If you've played the series in multiplayer the camera is a major problem for multiplayer.
That's not happening, If call of duty multi was sold separately from single player, it would still retail for 60 dollars.
It's all fairly irrelevant. So one side had a few more 90%+ games then the other. Not really a huge number.
If you want to be technical:
Points against 360: Kinect games don't count, they just don't. Joe Danger came out for PS3 last year, not really fair to count it.
Points against PS3: Mass Effect 2 and Limbo were on 360 last year. Also, counting any HD rerelease(tho MGS on 360 did it too) as a new AAA title isn't really bein...
No wonder their sales are so high, there's prob a few children buying hundreds of copies...
Life finally makes sense again
I've gotta say, I love my PS3 and all its incredible games, but this mob-mentality fanboy behaviour in the comments has to stop...
As in not bothering to write different and interesting dialogue for characters. Instead just having it on a continuous loop, where most anybody says it.
It's funny how poor writing leads to more exposure.
But I would say it's the first Open world RPG to hit this kind of popularity. Oblivion and Fallout 3 were close.
In their defense, you could always search the dead bodies of the first 2 guards. They would give you a potion for each guard you searched.
Minish Cap vs A Link To The Past in Round 1 is dissappointing. Otherwise GL with this.
I had it listed as Demon's Souls(series), and Dark Souls is on 360. It's in italics meaning the entire series isn't on the system.
Done.
You are right that it deserves a mention, I added it to honourable mentions. While I loved the first game, as a series it hasn't hit a home run for me yet.
Out of curiousity, what would you guys replace, and with what?
I don't get where the male shep voice hate is coming from.
I've played as both, thought they were both great.
I prefered the male, but that may be because it's easier for me to connect with(being male myself).
But by no means did either voice actor perform poorly.
Looks interesting at the very least, might have to give it a try.
Lol, nice.
Not exactly sure what score I can give to an article that consists of 4 seperate scores. If there's a better way of doing it I'd be happy to change it.
If you're a parent buying for a 5 year old, you aren't going to want the 3D capabilities for your kid, nor are you going to want to spend 50 dollars more for a feature you will just turn off.
I do agree though, if you've got the money and you're above 12 years old the 2DS has no appeal.
