It's hard to say, man, it really is. It depends on your perspective on fighting games. I don't mean this in a derogatory way AT ALL, but I honestly think that depends on whether you're more of a casual fighting game player, or a more hardcore tournament attending fighting game player. If you're a tourney player like myself, who regularly takes trips down to Next level Arcade in Brooklyn to participate in SF, MKX, and KI tournaments, you more than likely appreciate having the g...
A handful of new single player content is coming in March via free patches, alongside the addition of 8 player online lobbies and spectator mode. Just a handful of weeks. Forbes.com just ran an article saying that Capcom has officially stated they are working on implementing an Arcade Mode soon. I'd add the link for you guys to read, but n4g won't let me post links yet as I'm a new member. So let's take quick stock of what SFV's total content will be very soon:

A handful of new single player content is coming in March via free patches, alongside the addition of 8 player online lobbies and spectator mode. Just a handful of weeks. Internet reaction brought to you by 2015-2016 era outrage culture. Enjoy
I've said this before in other posts, but nobody listens to reason. Capcom Cup and Evo are primary motivators in launching SFV now and then releasing the remaining content out later. They wanted pro players to get their hands on the game, becoming proficient at it in time for tournaments. It is what it is.
And to anyone saying we should look at future content as being included in the initial $60 price tag, that's incorrect. Characters, stages, and assets made 1-2 years after the initial release of a fighting game require the creation of new assets, require time, require manpower and hours, require the company, in this instance Capcom, PAYING the talented and dedicated artists and developers who work on creating and developing new characters and content for the games we enjoy. It's why I...
Season pass is optional if you're a lazy fuck who doesn't want to earn what comes your way. Play the game, complete the daily challenges and you'll be able to purchase all DLC characters. Not to mention, how is this NEW if you grew up with fighting games? I remember grinding away at games like Tekken, Soul Caliber and Street Fighter for HOURS on the highest difficulty settings, to fight bosses like Shin Akuma, God Rugal etc, to unlock hidden characters and costumes etc. Except NOW...
2/2 In SFV's case? It's only crime is perhaps launching sooner than it should have. You can blame that on Capcom wanting the game out in time for Capcom Cup and Evo, but that's another story. We know for a fact that there's more content coming in March for FREE. That's just a couple of weeks away, friends. The March content will add to the character prologues, survival mode, training mode, and online modes already present a mode named Extra Battle. A mode in which you'...
All future DLC characters will be purchasable with in-game currency earned by playing the game, new single player modes will be coming free of charge in just a few weeks in March, Forbes.com ran an article stating that Capcom is working on implementing an arcade mode soon via patch and all future Super, Ultra etc. editions will be provided by Capcom through patches free of charge as opposed to charging $30-$40 per upgrade as they have in the past for games like Street Fighter and Marvel vs Ca...
