"They want to drive people to their service, even if it doesn't sell a console. Putting it on PS5 will not do that."
Isn't this a contradiction? Expansion of Game Pass and xCloud to any platform that can support it is a win for MS and should be an obvious end goal. Now, Sony may have a problem with this, but they also had a problem with EA Access and cross-play, and look what happened. We don't know how the market will look ...
I know this is a wet dream of every xbox fanboy, to have something this big and exclusive to look forward to, but... I think there is a bigger chance for GamePass to come to Playstation in some form, than for Starfield to be exclusive. MS is investing in software and other platforms harder and harder lately.
I think they said everything currently in production will come out as planned. I guess no one knows, really. Though, if this is strictly single player game, not sure how they want to recoup the invested money if they are thinking about making it exclusive. Microtransactions? Hope not. For now, I'd assume it's in development for every major platform. It's still probably few years off.
The biggest electronic retail chain in my country got 3000pcs for pre-orders. Was over after 4h. They don't know when to expect next wave except for trying your luck on launch day at the store. It sounded like it'll be really hard to grab without using fists and elbows. And yeah, there is more PS5s "available" than there was PS4s but the demand is also different. That's a quote from reuters: "Sony pre-sold as many PS5 consoles in the first 12 hours in the United Sta...
Depends on how big of a dead zone game is using I think. The lower, the better obviously. I'm playing Warzone a lot recently and the dead zone I'm using there is 0.05. Anything below and it starts drifting sometimes. Happens on both but my controllers are old and warn out. I think it's something to expect after years of usage.
I can understand people with 1080p TVs, if that would be just the case of resolution. That's what they said about Series S, right? Same games, just lower res? What about frame rates, though? PUBG runs in 30fps on Series S and 60fps on Series X. Is that OK?
Came here to post exactly that. That would be a major, major step back. Main reason I didn't like Cold War beta was because it's clearly made on this old, inferior tech. Infinity Ward knocked it out of the park with the upgrades. Should be other way around.
Another one that lost its focus. The genericness of every character, dialog and mission starts to stand out after longer playtime. I commend them for what they were trying to achieve but because of this, the game is extremely bland. It feels more like a chore than fun.
I think the analogy is wrong. Mobile case doesn't require de-attaching and attaching the sides of your actual device. The article also states that Sony had pending patents for faceplates. This company knew about it and still decided to went with pre-orders, without any licence agreement from Sony. Sony is just protecting its business, that's all. I'm sure there will be plenty of 3rd party plates available, we just have to give it more time.
Anyone actually read the article? They knew Sony has pending patents for faceplates and they still went with the pre-orders. Not sure what they were expecting :/.
'some' is the keyword here. You think people will choose 'native 4k' in some games instead of dynamic 4k and DualSense? Frames per second are the same and upscaled 1800p to 2160p will still look glorious. Difference will be invisible to 99% of users.
It's not true 7.1 obviously, but it's amazing. It's like bineural audio. Listen to this on normal headphones: https://youtu.be/IUDTlvagjJ...
I just had a brain fart. What if MS brings game pass to PS and makes Starfield, ES6 etc. playable only if you have subscription?

This looks good!

It's not interesting at all. Is there any game that requires raytracing?

This also voids warranty.

Because I know.
DualSense is amazing.
You don't need ds4.
