Lack of bundled drive is killing it slowly for this price. If you calculate it, costs more than twice of base PS5 with the drive at launch.
Then those publishers would have to be really stupid to expect we would accept such price as new 'normal'. GTA is in the league of its own, always has been and always will be. There is nothing else like it.

GTA 6 is the ONLY game I would pay 100$ for, and that's a maybe. There is no chance in hell I would pay this for any other game. I'm not even buying games for full price anymore, because 70$ is already fucking crazy.

Well, my 11 year old kid doesn't play on his Switch anymore. He now plays on Steam Deck, and his friends from school as well. In my eyes the landscape is shifting, but I still hope Switch 2 will be a massive success. Can't imagine world without Nintendo.
I really wonder how it will stack up against current handheld pc market. Will it be as popular as Switch is? Switch didn't have this kind of competition back then. Also, people grow up.
