Yeah, it's Sokoban all over again :P
You're saying that because you've never tried to publish an indie game on consoles. What Sony is doing with PS4 is a godsend.
Try with someone else.
Nothing. Only a handful of countries will get x1 in europe at launch so they won't bother.
The latest firmware update for PS4 dev kit also has full multitasking.
@famoussasjohn
By saying now it's not true and week later announcing a delay.
I'm in!
@nirwanda
Developer version feels strongly unifinished. I reckon that retail version will have better materials and higher resolution.
Don't have to be a scientist to know that.
Well, my friend didn't know what to expect. He almost fell when I showed him Roller Coaster tech demo :D. But the biggest feature for me is zero lag. When you turn your head, there is no delay in-game. This makes OR very immersive. Resolution is on the low side though, and lenses get dirty pretty quickly. I really hope Sony and MS will adopt this baby for next-gen when it launches. I can honestly see myself playing on OR instead of TV.
We have a development version of OR at work. It's pretty amazing. Half Life 2 is a blast.
That is *if* The Division ever comes to PC.
Times are changing and Nintendo isn't.
I don't get that either. People thinking Dead Rising 3 or Ryse wouldn't be possible on PS4 are blowing my mind.
Go sign the petition for GTAV on PC. Your vote is needed.
C'mon. From technical standpoint it was pretty impressive. Especially on consoles. 60fps is still a dream for some devs. But yeah, Rage as a game wasn't that great.
Before signing the papers for a devkit, there is always a long talk with each console maker about the future of the platform. After meetings with guys from MS and Sony and hearing what they have in store (or don't) for X1/ PS4, I can honestly say without any doubt that Sony is taking next generation. Easily. Wait for GamesCom.
OR is awesome! I've played some Half Life 2 on it and it's crazy good. I really hope console makers will provide support for it at some point. OR + BF = mind blown.
Why would anyone do that?
Yes, they've confirmed 60fps and 64 players on next-gen consoles during the press conference. They said nothing about the resolution though, so I'm guessing it's still 720p.
