yeah im running i7 4770/r9 290 so yeah oculus is only 750 too, But as others have said Sony is a hardware company 1st! and hasnt failed anyone in the last 20 years when it comes to game hardware. Yeah I'm skeptical the pc video was on max/ultra. Its either a bug that needs to be addressed or crappy port but it appears the shadows on the ground are crisper on the x1 than pc and that is a bunch of bs. x1 can produce better shadows than and i7/970 setup!!! yeah sure!!! This comparison is crap it doesn't even compare game play and when it does start to show some in game shot she is standing still LOL, FAIL comparison is FAIL.
@Badz Dude as someone above said hows that back log of rented games when ps5 6 or 7 come out. Shit pc is the master of backwards compatibility hell I can still play Quake from 1994 on my modern pc. Should be smooth on AMD, Frostbite and Dice favor AMD in the PC world. BF3/BF4 ran better on AMD Gpu's so I would expect the same with Battlefront so glad too cause every time I see PhysX and NV Gameworks I know the game will run like crap for AMD.
What surprises me is the amount of people who cant believe how good this game looks? I mean its Dice with the frostbite engine anyone ever heard of battlefield 3/4 or hardline maybe not the most fun but a very good looking graphics engine. Oh man oh man only 9 more hours to play the Closed Alpha!!!
Exactly what I'v been thinking. Perfect timing to help holiday sales while giving the company time to maximize summer sales. Sony currently isn't not doing so hot as a whole they need as much profit as possible probably $349 for 500gb and $399 for 1tb around TGS.
Was stoked when I got my beta code yesterday I had just signed up on Wednesday for the pc version. IMO it was actually quite fun and it puts a fresh spin on the FPS genre with the wall running, jumping and titans. As well you know it runs smooth as butter with everything maxed out @ 1080p because its the Source engine but it actually looks pretty good for a decade old graphics engine.
actually no I only spent $600 for and xps 8700 i7 4770,and $160 for a radeon 7950 oc'ed to 1200/1450 as the other guy said pc game is pretty cheap with steam/greenmangaming/gamefly/g amestop deals around the clock. Ill put my money on Tokyo Games Show as the venue to release cheaper slimmer Ps3 seeing as its right around the corner of 2012 Holidays and that would most likely secure ps3 as the holiday sales victor. Said no one with a pc ever!! Well maybe a few did, but consoles didn't hold back their game I played maxed out on Pc and graphically its a peach compared to anything on ps4 especially when cranked up to 1440p. I know because I have one of those as well, along with drive club. The problem it had was the game wasn't fun and not graphically superior to Assetto Corsa an already released, IMHO a more fun game that was graphically superior to anything from consoles as it was.
