hi, Brian (the article's author) here! The only reason I left metroid off the list is because Metroid Other M came out fairly recently (2010) so i felt like it wasnt AS ignored as the other ones I listed. However, i totally agree, Nintendo could make Metroid SUCH a cool FPS series if theyd let it

i dont think she'll be back in 5. I think 5 will be the quest to find Dr. Halsey so she can make a new Cortana 2.0 using her DNA. I think she will make her return in Halo 6
