The rhythm based games are slowly dying, people don't care for $180 games anymore. Every game comes out with a new set of guitars, drums, mics and more songs. Nothing else is really different.
Rock Band will be the only rhythm based game alive or doing well in 2009.
Guitar Hero has bombed compared to Rock Band 2 already so it's probably on it's way out.

CliffyB has only said that the PS3 controllers are not very good for shooters hence his preference to the 360 controller.
I half agree with him, the PS3 sticks aren't really placed in the greatest place in the world, but the control it's self is solid in terms of D-pad and buttons. I don't really like the L2 and R2 triggers but what can you do?
He doesn't hate the PS3, actually it's quite the opposite, rumors say that he's making a multiplatform survival horror game....
I can explain those sales partially.
Resistance: Fall of Man provided that those sales include bundles will count for a lot. Resistance was launch game so new PS3 owners were hungry for a FPS. Include that with a span of 2 years provided those numbers are recent and that's 3 million for you.
Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction is a Ratchet & Clank game, any PS2 to PS3 owner would probably pick this up.

Uhhh guys, Littlebigplanet and Fallout 3 were both released on the same day and both were tracked for 5 days.
Fallout 3 outsold Littlebigplanet. When was the last time Fallout was on a console? Never? So hypothetically, console owners really don't know what Fallout is so it's basically a new IP. Littlebigplanet of course is a new IP.
I'm not downplaying Littlebigplanet, I played it at a friend's house, it's the best game for the PS3 by far.

They tried to change up the mix, and fanboys of the old detested this fiercely and this is the result. The game is not bad, as claimed by fanboys. It's great.
This score really surprises me as my girlfriend and I really love this game. It's clever, funny, and fun to play. I don't really know why Gametrailers killed it with it's score. Oh well.
This game is really fun, the vehicle customization is really deep, I made a Batmobile with floaters on the side to drive in water, the shape of the Batmobile makes for a great boat. Yeah, as soon as the 10 000 people who got into the 3rd wave of NXE downloaded the NXE, Live went out for 20 seconds and came back. It's good now, but it's quite the scary indication of what's to come on Wednesday.
My 360 isn't freezing at all, it's breezing through everything, my biggest worry is when the entire Internet's infrastructure will implode on the NXE's release.
I was laughing at this entire argument up until Canadianguy's life was posted, then I felt bad.
For the record, Master Chief vs. Kratos, everyone knows that Master Chief would win. ;)

Looking hard: Gun textures and rock textures on the 360 are sharper, seems like AA on the 360 version.
Neither version looks that great anyways.
