If you look at amazon thers is like 4 or 5 PS4 SKU on top 10 and the ps4 day one edition is still on top 10 despite being sold out? while xbox has still yet to sold out its day one edition and is the only sku up there.....

The only way publisher will be able to block offline games is if PS4 will have your games locked to your account and require you to athenticate your account online as a mandatory process. because then they will know that the game you bought is either new or previously owned by sum1 else(used).
