Anti cheat doesn't really work they crack those in like the first month. The hackers are using AI now so unless the publishers start building an AI to counter then it's going to get worse.
Game Developers regularly move in and out of jobs they are always in demand. Activision going under will be a good for humanity.

Why are they removing in game content?
@MagUk David Jaffe says he doesn't think they will make another one because with how big the budget would be for a AAA title on PS5 they don't think enough people will buy it to get Sony to make another. The only way would be if it was like an online multiplayer game service so it could keep making money long term but no one wants a Twisted Metal game like that.
He failed everyone by selling out to Activision. Blizzard was doing fine on their own they didn't need the money but he took it and moved on.
I believe they said it's soldered on but if you have a soldering gun and it's not hard to get to you might be able to replace it.
That has been my biggest issue with Sony they make the UI less functional each generation. On PS3 i was able to open, type, and send a message super quick in the middle of multiplayer matches. On PS4 that is impossible as most games lag on the PS4 when you try to go to the home menu. They fixed the lag on the PS5 but then they added a bunch of useless things to the front that no one uses and pushed the things like messaging, joining parties, trophies behind more hoops when it used to be so mu...
It's not going to take away Switch players because they are married to Nintendo no matter what they do and the majority of them won't take advantage of the PC functionality. I can see it attracting the PS Vita crowd though because they would love playing any of the PS exclusives that will eventually get released on PC and they love to hack handhelds and this is perfect for installing other software.
I like all the features but for $530 and $650 why can't we finally get a 1080p screen on a handheld? It's definitely powerful enough with those specs and at those prices your targeting the hardcore crowd who want to pay for the best hardware. I mean smartphones have had 1440p and 4k screens for a while and you can game on them even if the games are worse.
Lets just hope the other team working on Silent Hills is better or Kojima makes his own version with a different name.

Isn't the point of higher refresh rates to be used for high frame rates over 60? Ex 90hz monitor is best with 90fps?
Assuming they won't start full development until Starfield comes out and it takes at least 3 years to make a game of that size then i don't expect it before late 2025.
They need to get rid of that stupid microsoft account and internet connection requirement to use it.

I believe the reason it doesn't come with windows installed is because they would have to pay Microsoft.
