I tend to agree. Microsoft should have stuck it out through the holidays with the Xbox One S and announced the Scorpio at a separate event next year. They could have built up hype with "leaks" here and there and perhaps had some software and VR to show along with it. I must admit this was a stupid move on MS's part.
I am currently using a GTX 970 and can't even max out games in 1080p, let alone 4k. I am tired of the "carrot on a stick" that is PC gaming. I never feel 100% satisfied with what I get for the money I spend, so it goes on and on.
And waste untold millions (which they don't have) on the r&d so you can boast about it? I think Sony is smarter than that.
