but it isn't a case of NVidia shooting themselves in the foot. they are shooting everyone else in the foot.
Yes nvidia's so superior service that see's my gtx 560 ti collecting dust because of its superiority next to the HD 7950's that replaced it. (Bad drivers and quirky).
@Inception like your list. I thought I was the only one who remembered Legend of Legaia. 1 of my all-time favorites.
Hopefully among the improvements they add an option to turn off the light bar on the DS4. It's usefulness becomes rather limited, now that we know its only there for those who go for the Sony's VR tech.
Project Morpheus Is cool and on my to get list, but there is no reason for that light bar without Morpheus being active. It would be too easy to program a signal to the DS4 to turn it on when needed.
Wow disagrees already. Tell you what breakout your PS3, Pla...
YOu are forgetting about OpenGL, that it will soon offer the same advantages that DX12 will offer.
From PCProspective:

"Things do not always go as planned. The Xbox One has some performance issues as compared to the PS4. Promises that Microsoft made to developers about the capabilities of the XBOn...
I find this all well and fine, but read this:

Then remember the PS3 has fast DDR5 vs DDR3
I took the time to read your links. The interesting thing I took from the links was that MS lost more money on the xbox and xbox 360 combined; than Sony lost on the PS3.
OFF TOPIC: thanks for heads-up on Puppeteer. I'll give it a try.
@FrigidDARKNESS I live in Canada. I've seen the recent influx of PS4's. (thank god).
Do you know what those retailers' say when I asked them XB1 sales: "they wish that the XB1 sold even half as well as the PS4".
I cannot speak for other areas, but where I live that's what is said.
naw, just changed his name. No delete.
Ouch.LOL you brought back some bad memories.
"I have ran circles around Ogres in my trusty Strider while carpet bombing with the triple threat. I usually come out on top"
That has happened to me. I'll preface my previous statement with "Usually" with that reminder.
I agree Sony doesn't need Titanfall. They are doing impressively well, but it would of prevented a lot the endless dick waving between PlayStation and Xbox fanboys.
Unless I've been playing in the wrong matches. IMHO My experience using the Ogre Titan is:
Ogre Titan vs. strider = meat beneath my feet.
If Sony had managed to get Respawn to bite on the Vita game. The way I see it, the door would of been open for a PS4 port.
correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it only 3rd party online games that need PSPlus. Netflix etc.. don't require PSPlus.
I don't care just as long as it's still bright enough to make a sandwich at nite with the lights off.lol
IMHO $250-299 sounds very good to me. But you only get what you pay for.
I usually pay more if its a better choice. So if I have a choice in this "super size me". $399 is still less than what I'd would be willing to pay for 'a great experience".
@ThatOneGuyThere I thought exactly the same thing. Mind you I'm no John Carmack.
NVidia has had its share of games that don't run well on their hardware as well. It's a matter of opinion of how large it is in either case. As for flexibility, when NVidia makes proprietary software and processes of course AMD is not allowed to use them. By the way I did not see a run on NVidia graphics product's when bit coin mining took off.
There are things that each party's product is capable of that the opposite party's is not.
But active blocking...
