Actually that review quoted above is from a different website. Kotaku was simply compiling a few reviews together to show that this game got mixed reviews. From 6's to 10's.
Is this for NGP?
Edit: Nvmd. NGP Wipeout is 2048
One of the shittiest articles i've ever read. What a disgrace!
The developer has stated these are medal kickbacks that u can "buy" once u have enough medals earned, and use only one time.
Once used, u have to earn all the medals necessary again to "buy" it and then u can use it again. This is not at all like killstreaks. U won't get these abilities in the match. U have to earn medals, buy, equip before the match, and use only once during match when u see it necessary.
Yeah I can't watch it either. What does he say?
Also, regardless of what some might think, HHG usually DOES have inside info if he mentions something.
I've played it, and it's not THAT bad. I'd give it a 7.5 based on single player alone and i know the MP just adds value to that score. Of course i've only played the beta on account of the PSN being down.
You will. It's already confirmed.
It has a platinum. It's been confirmed in the comments section of the blog.
Same here. Not much of a fighting fan anymore.
Good to hear!
Although I didn't care for the ending, the game as a whole was a great experience, especially with Move. I don't care if it doesn't sell 8m+ like COD, as long as guerilla can learn from their mistakes and are granted another opportunity to improve.
@himdeel
Totally agree about move support.
Move support and 3d have already been confirmed.
I know right.
It's about time! Can't wait to play with move. And hopefully get a ps+ discount.
Looks interesting. But I can't help to think of how much more interesting this would be if it was a "point and touch" adventure on NGP instead of "point and click" on PS3.
Another game I think would be awesome on NGP would be Machinarium, also a future PSN title. And also a point and click title on PC.
According to the PS Blog and this article, "Outland" is only $10usd, or $8 for PS+ users.
i think the developers said it was only online co-op so you'd have your own screen. But don't quote me on it. I guess I should've looked it up first to confirm.
edit: the article confirms online ONLY co-op.
Socom 4 and Portal 2(PS3/PC) for me.
Also Motorsorm if it even comes out in april.
It WILL have PSN access. Even the PSP now has PSN access and the NGP will have even more. You'll be able to buy games, use Qriocity, buy movies, and will use ur PSN for multiplayer and trophies.
Apart from that there will be the "live area" and the "near" functionalities.
What more do u need for it to qualify as "full PSN access"?
So the NGP has a mic on the front as well?
Nowhere on the document did it say 3ds. It just says "handheld/mobile".
Given the fact that Epic has openly stated that the 3ds can't handle the unreal engine, but that the NGP can, I would logically assume that Mass effect 3 or spinoff would be made for the NGP or mobile phones.
Battlefield engine is on a whole 'nother level.
