Didn't people learn anything from Destiny? Or all of the shady review embargoes preceding sub-par games? The embargo is so late because they do not think the game will review as well as they want. Why else make it so late? And it doesn't have anything to do with multiplayer not being able to be reviewed, because there isn't any.

Incorrect. There are several ways to purchase a game illegally, such as from a person who stole the game. While you could contend the word is superfluous, it is not an oxymoron.
That is a non-issue. Implement easy to use mute functionality, and/or set the default voice-chat setting as muted and let people turn it on manually.
We shouldn't be scared to use voice-chat because of a minority of trolls and d-bags. And that's what they are- the minority.
