It has been proven that the 360s GPU is more powerful than that of the PS3 , the cell assists with its graphics processing thus allowing it to keep up. If they decide to maintain the same SPU architecture that would benefit them yes but you say that as if the next Xbox isnt goin to implement tech that increases its performance exponentially this Gen isnt like last where the superior console in terms of performance was clear . The PS3 just doesnt live up to the hype that surrounded it not sayi...
that doesnt change the fact that games run at there native locked frame rates no matter what at least this is whats suggested by all past technological laws

I agree at the moment the PS3 exclusives do have the graphical throne , but thats at the moment we havent seen a dev put in as much work on the 360 as the devs on PS3 remember those amazing looking titles you mentioned all have propriety engines built from the ground up for that console , 360 games have been rapidly produced using middle ware engines IE unreal engine 3 , . I never said that it was maxed i was just making the point that i wished that the PS fans would just be a tad bit more humble , i own both the 360 and PS3 and i find it repulsing when i see message boards bombarded with PS fan arrogance and the same tired UC2 KZ2 weapon its ridiculous , its been stated thousands of times that the consoles were roughly equal in terms of game performance out put
I though wardevil went Multi plat form if thats the case the 360 will also be capable of what sony proposed but i highly doubt that that such an amazing out put can be reached the current consoles can barley run 1080 P games dont see how 120 fps can be attained while maintaing such a resolution
How could one actually know the exact amout of time it will take for something with so many variables , that was obviously a PR or hyping statment no doubt that the PS3 is a capable system it just isnt miles ahead of every one else as they claimed. The Technology community does not accept the cells architecture as the way to go even though its has proven that it can perform i dont think it lived up to its hype . That portion was sonys fault im still waiting on all my 1080p 120 fps games they promised . Parallel processing will move forward just not using this process its much to inefficient
