This over simplification of the dissenting opinions may give you some emotional satisfaction, however it does not take away from the very valid criticisms of Sony that have been levied.
Because it's a largely unnecessary addition to the ecosystem thats why. Just because you're a fan of a particular brand doesn't make them immune to criticism. Critiquing the moves of something you love is healthy actually. Just because someone disagrees with Sony's move doesn't make them a "Fanboy", but an active thinker.
GTF outta here lmao
It looks kinda cheap.. but I guess that's the point.
This is one of the few titles that really grabbed me during E3, I know its gonna be dope.
It's sad how divisive the industry has become. When will these developers learn that games live and die on their communities and if you're fracturing that at the onset, your game wont have very long legs. The profit motive has caused considerable damage to the industry and it sucks for us all.
You sir... are an a** hole
This was terribly written
lmao this game looks awful
This game is pretty awesome. I had no idea I'd like it so much. Genji??(The Ninja), And the Guy who looks like Erron Black are currently my favorites.
This mid-cycle upgrade nonsense is an affront to all early adopters and they should be ashamed of themselves. And none of you despite your loyalty to the brand should condone this. You have to look beyond yourselves and understand how this impacts the Playstation ecosystem going forward. Assuming this thing is real the userbase WILL fracture as more and more of these new machines proliferate the eco-system. We just saw nintendo do this with the "new"3DS and look how they turned out....
The necesity to do this stems from them not going as far with the technology as they should have on launch. Truth is these systems were marginal upgrades from their predecessors and the PC to console power gap has gotten a-lot wider. I'd say these mid-cycle console upgrades are a response to developers not having enough horsepower to make their visions to a 1:1 fidelity.
Why is there so much salt and hate in here.. Oh yea I forgot its N4g what else would I expect.
nope
Oh yea that minute resolution advantage makes a HUGE difference.
He shouldn't be defending anything. They made a design and a business decision and it should be left at that.
We need to do ourselves a favor as gamers and refrain from purchasing these passes. It just tells developers we're ok with them half delivering content on initial launches.
In how many languages can I say "No"?
By the reports this game did not launch in good shape. How did it make it through certification in this form.
