Its a battle royale game, and honestly its the best looking one yet. Aside from that, im not sure why visual fidelity is high on the list of must-haves for a BR game,

I agree, I felt some of the traveling was a bit tedious and could have been streamlined out of the game for a more concise experience, though the dialogue between the characters was a nice addition.
I honestly think 4K/60 is a reasonable expectation. How ever I would argue that evolution in game design and more complex mechanics Is where we as an industry should be aiming (ie. greater environmental destructibility, better multi-player functionality, ect.) The industry has been really hung up on resolutions and frame rates rather than game play experience and immersion.
Karma, what is it that you're talking about. This was an intentional reduction in visual fidelity to asses which effects tax performance more.
Let's not forget about "The Getaway " I actually liked the first game on ps2

The continued emphasis on visuals instead of engaging gameplay mechanics is really starting to hurt these titles. I pray for a return to fundamentals when it comes to putting these games together.

These developers are starting to understand that loot boxes and micro-transactions cheapen the perceived value of their games. It's amazing that this is becoming more prevalent.
So you want them to introduce even more SKUs .. I don't see how this benefits either the consumer or the manufacturer to do this.
