While I really like VR and everything, I don't think pairing it up with a handheld device is a way to go. Nintendo virtual boy anyone?

I personally don't have anything against demo's running on PC, since they are more poweful and would make better show; but gamers as whole should be more mature and stop use these things to criticize each other's system :|

30 FPS doesn't mean unplayable crap. But it's the bare minimum to have an enjoyable gameplay experience.

Isn't gaming console one of Sony's "strong" area? They sold VAIO line, their Xperia smartphones aren't doing so well, their bravia or whatever TV's are being driven out by Samsung and LG... I'd say console is one place where Sony still has dominance (more or less, of course).

They didn't do this to show that cloud computing is super awesome and make upgrading hardware obsolete. It's just to demonstrate that these kind of performance improvement is possible and the technology (cloud computing) has good potential.
